An Interesting Read
Revisado: 12-14-18
This book is not my usual genre, for me, this was a little too science fiction-y. It definitely is a mystery and I was interested to see how it would end, I probably wouldn't read anything like this again.

I wanted a little bit more
Revisado: 12-14-18
This is the second Kathryn Croft novel that I read and I was slightly disappointed in it. I loved The Girl You Lost, it kept my interest from the beginning and I really did not see the twist coming. This book was good, I was just expecting a little bit more. I found the twist to be a little boring and the ending a little unsatisfying. I wonder if she was setting it up for a sequel. This is not a bad book by any means but for me, it was a slight disappointment.

Malala is so inspiring. She is so intelligent and thoughtful. This is truly a heartbreakingly wonderful story. I would recommend over and over again.

Kind of boring
Revisado: 12-14-18
Not really a thriller, more of a book about the families of missing girls. There were so many narrators and characters I found myself a little lost some of the time. It wasn't a bad book by any means, it's just not the best I've ever listened to.

Good Domestic Thriller
Revisado: 12-14-18
I thought this was an entertaining and enjoyable read. I did find the protagonist to be frustrating at times and I didn't think the spoilers at the end were a huge surprise but I was interested to see how it would end. Even though it wasn't a huge twist for me it was still a satisfying ending.

I was hooked from the beginning
Revisado: 12-04-18
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It has mixed reviews so I wasn't sure how I would like it but I thought it was very enjoyable. I was hooked from the beginning. I did find the main character frustrating at times, she was supposedly very well educated but seemed to make weird choices. There were also quite a few twists at the end that I wasn't expecting. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys domestic thrillers.

Historia
The Girl of Sugar Beach is the most watched documentary in television history - a riveting, true-life mystery that unfolds over 12 weeks and centers on a fascinating question: Did Grace Sebold murder her boyfriend, Julian, while on a Spring Break vacation, or is she a victim of circumstance and poor police work? Grace has spent the last 10 years in a St. Lucian prison, and reaches out to filmmaker Sidney Ryan in a last, desperate attempt to prove her innocence. As Sidney begins researching, she uncovers issues that were all overlooked during the original investigation.

Another good one by Charlie Donlea
Revisado: 11-26-18
Like many others who listened to this book I didn't love the ending. If you are looking for a more satisfying happy ending, this probably isn't for you. Despite that, this is still an enjoyable book. I enjoy Donlea's books because for the most part, the protagonists are likable and believable.

A very enjoyable read
Revisado: 11-26-18
I enjoy thrillers but I don't always enjoy police procedural's. I found this one enjoyable. In my experience with thrillers many times the female protagonists can be frustrating and unrealistic. I enjoyed this book because the main character portrayed well and was actually believable.I wouldn't call this "a gripping thriller packed with mystery and suspense" but a good book nonetheless.

Revisado: 09-04-18
I was so excited for this book but it was one of the most boring/frustrating/predictable books I've ever read. The characters were frustrating and annoying and the entire plot was so predictable. Seriously, don't waste a credit.

A little slow but worth it
Revisado: 09-04-18
I enjoyed this book. Although it isn't a super suspenseful thriller it's still a very interesting listen. If you don't fall in love with the story at the beginning then you probably won't like the book. It also is probably best suited for a younger audience.
