Had such high hopes for this series, first book was good but now the character is so needy, emotionally unstable and clingy towards her boyfriend, the narrator imitating the cat meow is beyond annoying. I wasted my money on all 9 books, the witch series by Hanna is a bit better.

Listening to these books is like nails on a chalkboard. Am beyond disappointed because I love English cozy mysteries.

stopped buying Nora Roberts' books awhile ago because they were all too uniform and cookie cutter with just character names being different. This still was a bit in the too familiar but it was also unique and I listened in one day. I like how she used all these shootings and incorporated them into a story. Refreshing new story that is similar in some elements to the Three Sisters Island Trilogy which is my favorite work by her (Dance Upon the Air, Heaven and Earth and Face the Fire). Get this book!

New age packaged as "Christian"

Christians will not be harmed by the dark side for using this. This is energy healing working with the ear, third eye, throat and crown chakra. You are tapping the energy healing at these points. The throat chakra is where communication originates so you are cleaning blocks to express yourself and releasing blocked images, the crown chakra opens your connection to God and your third eye is energy healing center. This is New Age packaged as "Christiansen". I don't like the authors beginner story about he got this idea on a plane, sounds like an ego trip.

You are not doing anything harmful to practice these ideas. My bone is it is portrayed as some original idea by the authors when it really is ancient energy healing being repackaged with some Scripture to tie it up in a bow.
