Historia
All that bestselling author Eleanor Dash wants is to get through her book tour in Italy and kill off her main character, Connor Smith, in the next in her Vacation Mysteries series—is that too much to ask? Clearly, because when an attempt is made on the real Connor’s life—the handsome but infuriating con man she got mixed up with ten years ago and now can't get out of her life—Eleanor’s enlisted to help solve the case.

So funny and so entertaining!

This is not my usual genre but I saw the book at a bookstore on display and bought it on a whim. Read the first few chapters and was laughing so hard I bought the audiobook so I could listen while working. Have convinced my MIL and sister to read as well and they love it so far!

Historia
It took me a while to learn that sometimes no matter how much–or how hard–you love someone, or something, you have to let them go. You can’t save a sinking ship. Sometimes, you have someone else you have to be strong for, who needs you more. You make a choice; a devastating one. And you hope, maybe one day, they’ll come back to you.

Emotional highs and lows

I enjoyed the first book and wanted to continue the story but this book was like pulling teeth to get through. Personal preference: I don’t enjoy books where there is tragedy after tragedy and the main characters are really sad- but also horny… felts really awkward. Also the “she doesn’t know it yet” was a bit much when it comes to someone finding themselves.

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

This could possibly be interesting for 12 year olds

The review about it being blue balls was pretty on point. I also couldn’t stand the way the weird noises the female narrator made.
