Sully!!

This was one of my favorite contemporary romance books. It wasn’t overly sweet or sexual. It had the right mix of secondary characters that were quirky but not silly. It really was a very good mix of everything you would want it to be. My favorite character was Sully as I know a sully and portrayed accurately. The epilogue ties up all the characters and you even find out what happened to the mayors kitchen! Highly recommend

I felt the much of the story to be obvious except for the twins. The narration be Sloan seemed clipped and like she was reading directly from the script and didn’t sound natural. The remaining readers were good. The teenager dialogue was like the tv show Dawsons creek, way advanced for their years.
Overall it was ok.

Great book with an amazing read by both.
I hope he continues the series.
There are parts that are difficult to hear I hope others listen with an open mind and immerse themselves into a different view point. Just because some opinions are how it’s always been doesn’t mean we can’t learn and grow and change.

Only one issue

This book kept me interested. The plot will keep you guessing. It was well written and had great character development. The narrator did a great job except for the lead male characters voice. He sounded like a stubborn teenager instead of a well regarded psychologist. His characters voice really annoyed me because it threw off the words he was saying. If that was the voice used for one of the teenagers it would be fine but for a grown man I was actually happy how things worked out with him and his love interest.

I just hope that in follow-up books

It would have been really good if there wasn’t so much repetition. Almost every chapter we heard “If it wasn’t for her coming forward to say what she saw” ect. and how many people did we need to listen to them telling Caleb’s story word for word? Other than that a good book

Enjoy this series so much!
Love how this story focuses on Hightower a lot. He is just the person you want on your side in any situation. To be honest, all of Courts friends are dependable and bad a$$.

Give it a chance!!

The first 3 chapters I was yelling out loud at how dumb the main character is but I’m so happy I continued to listen!! It’s well worth the credit.
The way the storyline unfolds and builds is believable.
The last chapter!! It broke my heart that he’s carrying this guilt and I love the cliffhanger!!

The only part I didn’t like was the Stephanie character. I understand her being distrustful, upset, scared and not wanting to be involved.
What I didn’t like was how after hearing the truth told by the chick and knowing everything Danny said was true, she still didn’t want him to promise not to hurt anyone. I don’t like cold blood but he’s one man against unknown number of bad guys there’s gonna be loss. She annoyed me but I guess she is needed to make sure his character doesn’t turn into the people he’s trying to bring to justice.
Looking forward to more in this series!

I hope this becomes a series! A great well written read. I love that all the main characters except for one were slightly advanced in age and that it showed how useful and smart they still were. I really want this to be a series!!

I love the full cast and sound effects! I was so immersed in this audiobook.
I really need another in this series!!
The entire cast did a fantastic job and the storyline was great !
