I am a big Fan of R C, but had no familiarity with the authors, so this book was a bit of a leap of faith for me. I’m glad I I took the chance, because I found it very enjoyable and action packaged from start to finish!

Nice start

The potential of this series is amazing - Marc has such a great imagination that I enjoy everything he has done thus far.

Only con for me was there was way too much detail at times…

Jonathan Davis was probably not the best narrator choice for this book. He is a very deliberate speaker and very easy to follow, but his inflection never wavered regardless of what was happening in the book.

New narrator

New narrator is always hard in the middle of series. Brad didn’t have enough infection as both Steven’s did, so his characters were hard to associate with the characters you had become accustomed to… changes the story a bit IMO. Still a great story!

Keeps Getting Better

The book series started a little slow for me, but I really like Jacob Peppers work, so it was easy to work through some of the back story chapters where it slowed down a bit. Michael Kramer also does a nice job bringing characters to life in the books he narrates and this one is no exception.

I think things really came together well in this book and the character development has found it's stride.

I would recommend!.

Surprisingly Good

I had never heard of the author before, but Michael Kramer is a favorite voice actor of mine, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Turns out this book was actually much much better than I expected. The way the series unfolds similar in some Dungeon/Video games with leveling and skilling is a nice touch to a traditional story of this genre.

Look forward to the next book!

Good Story

I enjoy this series, but it progresses very slowly.

Derek helps keep it going through great narration and his voice inflections really brings out each characters personality.

Great continuation of the WoE

It was very refreshing to hear Gerard Doyle's voice pick-up seamlessly where he left off from the original series ended. CP has really done an amazing job with this book, the story was very entertaining and a good addition to what is one of my favorite series.

Great Listen

I enjoy the premise of the series and the general writing style of Jacob Peppers. I will be eagerly awaiting the next book!

General feedback- the story is good and the development of the progression is very entertaining. Only con is sometimes the dialogue falls short of the situation - odd comments and some historical information doesn’t always flow or match the significance of the situation being presented. It gives the impression the struggle, fight or battle is where all the creative thought went into and the dialogue wasn’t given as much consideration.
