Historia
Terri Savelle Foy shows how simple habits behind closed doors can reshape every aspect of your life. She knows what it’s like to be in a rut, repeating the same routine with no significant progress toward deep-down dreams. Terri started noticing that although the average person does not spend time alone—the average successful person does. Whatever your unique, God-given dream is, Terri reveals what successful people do in private to prepare and achieve the dreams in their heart.

Historia
If thoughts and feelings were truth, they would be called facts. In this fable and companion memoir, we learn about truth and the simple way we can transcend the lie of unworthiness. Imagined unworthiness shows up as a tyranny of thoughts and feelings that cause psychological suffering. Eleven-year-old Gem struggles with looping thoughts and feelings of self-hate because of her body weight. She believes she is unworthy of love. A wise woman comes into young Gem's life and demonstrates that her looping, hurtful, repetitive thoughts are untrue.

Deep Study of this Parable
Revisado: 07-26-24
This book is amazing! I love parables and this reminds me a bit of the flow and structure of, "Peaks and Valleys". This book was beautifully put together. I recommend reading and then listening to the audio to really take this story to a deeper level. You can imagine yourself as Gem, as see yourself when you believed those thoughts of unworthiness and how it kept or keeps you stuck in your own mind and feelings. This book helps you step out of the "story" we tell ourselves and what others tell us. Get the audible too!!

Historia
You have an enemy...and he's dead set on destroying all you hold dear and keeping you from experiencing abundant life in Christ. What's more, his approach to disrupting your life and discrediting your faith isn't general or generic, not a one-size-fits-all. It's specific. Personalized. Targeted. So this audiobook is your chance to strike back. With prayer. With a weapon that really works.

Priscella Shirer is always brilliant! and this book even in 2022 brings a new perspective how to show up and bring forth God's amazingness through prayer. War room is a movie I watch quarterly since it came out and I love how she incorporated a piece of it in the book !
