Interesting material, but . . .

Interesting course but too US Centric
Revisado: 10-20-18
I found this a really interesting course and got lot out of it. I just wish that there were more cases outside of the US. It just feels very US centric as opposed to being Great Trials of the world.

The unapologetic intensity with which Emily Brontë wrote this story ensures that it will forever be considered one of the greatest works of English literature. A passionate tale of a chaotic and often violent love, Wuthering Heights transcends your average romance and, with its Gothic undertones, takes the listener on a journey through one man's lustful hunt for revenge.

Historia
What is autism: a lifelong disability or a naturally occurring form of cognitive difference akin to certain forms of genius? In truth, it is both of these things and more - and the future of our society depends on our understanding it. Wired reporter Steve Silberman unearths the secret history of autism, long suppressed by the same clinicians who became famous for discovering it, and finds surprising answers to the crucial question of why the number of diagnoses has soared in recent years.

A must read for anyone within the Autism community
Revisado: 07-02-16
A brilliant history of autism and the neurodiversity movement. A book that should be read by all within the autism community - autistics, parents, educators, therapists, social workers, employers, and anyone lives, works with people with autistic tendencies (ie everyone).
I am sure that I will be listening to this book again and will get something new each time.
