A surprisingly unexpected page-turner!

This is a surprisingly interesting story of a man who, on the surface, seems quite typical of thousands of average American men. Especially as an entrepreneur, one would jump to the conclusion that he developed a simple idea, found investors, and made a fortune. There couldn't have been a more different beginning for Mike Lindell not only in business but also in life struggles! This is an unexpectedly different story which is quite a page-turner! I highly recommend listening to him read his story in audible. He brings it to life and I dare say you won't be disappointed!

Carol Burnett is an American treasure! This book answers this very accurate statement about her! So many wonderful details and anecdotes! She reads like we are long-time friends who perhaps have heard some of the stories before and yet there's even more to be told! Interesting, funny, sad, surprised, and exceptional are only a few words to describe Carol Burnett! Her show was indeed made for its time and if anything was meant to happen it was Carol and her wonderful cast of very capable friends! Thankfully the show was recorded and her words are in print where we can visit her again and again! I highly recommend this book and before you know it (even this book) comes the time you'll have to say so long! THANK YOU CAROL!

Like catching up with an old friend!

Valerie Harper brings to the table such a wonderful book full of sometimes happy sometimes sad events of her life in a way only she can do! Having her read is delicious icing on the cake and makes it feel like a best friend who is catching up with you after having been apart for a long while! She’s one of a kind and I’m so thrilled to have discovered that she’d written this book, especially after her untimely death! There’s so much more to Valerie Harper than her Rhoda character and it’s exciting to know even though I must admit… I sure wish she’d done at least a little of Rhoda’s accent (but that’s just me thoroughly loving the character she created LoL)! Regardless of that, it’s a wonderful book!!

Carl Reiner is a National treasure and yet keeps his profile as an “everyday” man living through his career. He certainly isn’t a talent who comes along everyday, however! Wonderful read and especially enjoyable listen!

I’m hard-pressed to find adequate words to praise just how wonderful this book is! An extraordinary family beginning with a love story couple who left deep family roots to follow a dream. This is both an American dream story as well as a Hollywood dream story. Full of honesty and anecdotes! A true pleasure to read from start to finish!

For those who are familiar with Phil Robertson, you’ll find this writing a non-surprising high level full of fact and well-placed teachings on God and our relationship with Him. Phil’s life is a testimony in itself and he brings along his own, personal style which keeps you constantly longing to hear more! This book is excellent and can be placed alongside the top “tell it like it is” categories!

I’ve been a Christian for over 50 years and I have gained more insight from the road Phil has traveled than nearly any witness to Christianity I’ve ever studied! Too many nowadays are overly concerned about being politically correct which is just another way Satan has come up with to silence the church and the message of God. Truth needs no apologies, especially from the messenger! Phil is exemplary of a man who found the truth and grew to consider it as a valuable treasure! Feeding his soul on the word and planting seeds everywhere he goes. His convictions are masterful not hateful as some say he is. A loving person who finds something of great value wants to share it and Phil spreads this biblical wealth around to those who will give even a moment to listen!
