Slow Start
Revisado: 03-19-16
Where does Loup-Garou: The Beast of Harmony Falls rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top 5
What did you like best about this story?
Once the story got going, it was engrossing. I became attached to certain characters and truly felt the camaraderie between them.
What about S.W. Salzman’s performance did you like?
He did well with all the characters, giving them their own voices, accents and inflections.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I don't want to go into detail but it involves the Sheriff.
Any additional comments?
The book starts slow and I am not sure how I feel about the sound effects. This is the first audiobook I have heard with sound effects included. Some of the noises were distracting and the voice recordings had a slightly tinny echo to allow for background media.

Historia
The safest place they know is about to become the most dangerous… Marcella's husband, Quinn "Black Eagle" Hollister, severed ties to his family and friends on the Seneca reservation years ago. He rarely mentions his past-until his young cousin Kitty collapses on the couple's doorstep in the dead of a rainswept night. After two Seneca men break into their home with intent to kill, the Hollisters flee with the mute and injured girl to Tall Pines, their cabin in the Adirondacks.

Different
Revisado: 03-15-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. It is an interesting story and I do like Lazar's writing style and Druyor's narration style.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I have always been interested in essential oils so their inclusion was interesting.
Which scene was your favorite?
It is obvious that the author researched the oils and native procedures that were included in the book. For someone, like me, who is already familiar with them it bordered on too much detail.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There were only a few places where her voice was too soft. She did a great job, overall.

Historia
When young Gus LeGarde befriends a cranky old hermit in the woods who speaks to an Oneida Indian spirit named Penaki, he wonders if the man is nuts. But when Penni rattles tin cups, draws on dusty mirrors, and flips book pages, pestering them to find evidence to avenge her past and free her from earthly bondage, things change.

Surprisingly Interesting
Revisado: 03-09-16
Where does Don't Let the Wind Catch You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top 10.
What other book might you compare Don't Let the Wind Catch You to and why?
I have nothing to compare it do. It is beautifully unique and not something I would have ever considered reading, on my own.
What does Erik Synnestvedt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He does well with the accents and voice changes. He brings real character to the characters.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed many times and became rather emotional at others.
Any additional comments?
My only problem with the narration is that sometimes the narrated portion would continue in the voice of the character who spoke last. I have noticed this with a lot of narrators and would prefer the narration to be different from the voices. Sometimes it makes it hard to tell where the speaking ends and the narration begins.
This was a fun tale. It took me a long time to begin reading because when I heard the character names I assumed this book would resemble the last one of Lazar's that I read. This one was much different and a welcome change.

Not Bad
Revisado: 02-28-16
Where does Stalk Me rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top 10
Who was your favorite character and why?
Kush. He's hilarious and loads of fun.
What about Maren McGuire’s performance did you like?
Sometimes her voice was a little too high-pitched and tinny but most of the time it was easy to listen to. I liked her "manly" voice best.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I'm not sure.
Any additional comments?
This is not the type of book I would normally read. Keatyn was a little childish, in my opinion and it annoyed me how people kept calling her mature. I am a slightly interested in what happens to Keatyn next. I may have to invest in the second book, though I'm not sure I will remain interested for the entire series.

Revisado: 02-17-16
Would you listen to XODUS again? Why?
Maybe. I don't know if I really want to listen to any book a second time.
What was one of the most memorable moments of XODUS?
I don't want to give anything away.
Which character – as performed by Natalie Hoyt – was your favorite?
I don't have a favorite. She did them all, male and female, very well.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes. I don't want to give anything away, though.
Any additional comments?
This was a very interesting storyline and there were twists that I actually wasn't expecting (which is saying a lot). The narration was good and easy to listen to. I found myself staying up to listen longer.

Where does Spirit Me Away rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top 10
What was one of the most memorable moments of Spirit Me Away?
The baby.
What does Robert King Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He brought the "vintage" to it. He spoke the lingo well and made himself sound convincingly high, when needed.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but way too long for that.
Any additional comments?
This wasn't the best book about female trafficking, but it wasn't bad either. I like that it was set in the past. This setting allowed for a more unique storyline.
