Great Narration and Original Storyline
Revisado: 06-22-24
A fun adventure with learning along the way. Marcus is a child that other children can identify with since he makes mistakes and gets embarrassed when he messes up or gets hurt. The information on coins during Jesus’ time was fascinating. I like that this addresses a lesson from Jesus that is most likely not in most Sunday school curriculums.

Historia
Following the stunning success of her high-spirited debut, Karen Witemeyer delivers this compelling blend of humor and romance. When Adelaid Proctor finds herself stranded in 1883 Texas, she’s hired by a British-born sheep rancher as governess for a daughter still grief-stricken over her mom’s death. As Adelaid gently draws the girl out of her shell of silence, the governess and sheep rancher, at first, resist their mutual attraction.

Oh sweet angst!
Revisado: 03-09-24
I loved the characters so much. Even the bad guy was well written. Terribly sinister. I laughed and cried. The narrator is incredibly gifted with English accents and children’s voices.
Such a great story and audio production!

Captivating in Every Way!
Revisado: 01-06-22
The action and suspense kept me at the edge if my seat. The romance was heart-melting. The spiritual lessons were subtle yet deep. Pearl Hewitt has a lovely voice, and she did so well with characterizing her voice - especially for the villians of the story. Michelle Griep certainly has a lovely manner of writing. Well done!

Historia
True tales of ghosts, hauntings, and the possessed. All ghost stories are scary to some degree, but the ones we believe are by far the spookiest. As we read these tales, clutching at our blankets, staring anxiously at our closets, part of our brains are devoted to one simple question: Why am I so scared?
