The story flows so well. I couldn't stop listening. I listened to the 3 stories she did for Audible in the wrong order. Each story stood on it's own. You don't realize they are interconnected until you've heard them all. I love that bit.

Fun story with a surprise

Intelligent Heroine finds love

I particularly like this novel because it was about intelligent people living real day to day lives. It's a nice break from the debutante ball formula.

Kevin and Luke have out done themselves

This is a great collection of short stories about the world of Atticus O'Sullivan, the Iron Druid. Some are back story, some continue after the last novel. All of my favorite characters are there, Oberon, Granueille, Owen, the Polish witches and even Lief Helgersen.

It's a typical plot, following the usual formula. in several places she used slang in the character's dialog that didn't seem true to the period. The heroine figured everything out a little too easily and quickly.

Fantastic story of the fey realm meets modernity

What made the experience of listening to The Iron King the most enjoyable?

I loved that the fey realm is entered by one of "us" and seen through our eyes. I love details, like iPods not working, etc.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Iron King?

The dance where she meets the winter prince.

What does Khristine Hvam bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love her interpretation of Puck.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I couldn't hardly put this down. I was captivated.

Any additional comments?

I don't care if its a "Tween" series. It is a well written story for any age listener.
