What would have made How to Have Confidence and Power in Dealing with People better?
This audiobook is *not* an unabridged recording of the book, and it is *not* narrated by the author, Leslie T. Gilbin. It says so right in the audio preview that this is a *program* that is *based* on the book. The audio preview also has two narrators. I don't know what is wrong with Audible and this item. This is nothing more than an improved-quality edition of the telephone-quality edition that has been removed from the site, except that now they have added "unabridged" and "read by the author" to the cover picture and item, both of which are blatant lies.
Audible is engaging in false advertising to say this is an unabridged recording of the book narrated by the author. Neither of those are true, and Audible has made me waste money.

I bought it believing that this was an unabridged narration of the book. It's not. So I coudn't read along with my paper book as I had intended to.
What is it is an audio program by Dove Audio that is adapted from the content of the book. The content of this program is itself very good, but it's not the actual unabridged book.
Yes, the audio quality leaves much to be desired, as the other reviewers mention.
