Yes, there's language. Yes, there's situations that i prefer to not read about. On the whole, the book is good, but other than the characters' names lifted from the OG Little Women, that's where the similarities end.
This book isn't a retelling but a re-imagining. It leaves you hanging on some story lines and just ends without the satisfaction of having an ending. Overall, a nice escape for a summer day, but be prepared to be unsatisfied at the end.

Not what you'd expect...

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Great book, but unlike other Legends & Lies books, this is more history than a comparison of the truth vs. legends of Civil War figures.

What does Robert Petkoff bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He's a very good narrator.

Could you see Bill O'Reilly's Legends and Lies: The Civil War being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

This wouldn't translate well on either size screen.

Any additional comments?

A well-written book; again; just don't expect it to have the same structure as other Legends & Lies books.
