He certainly states his case in this wise, enlightening, and hilarious book that not only collects the best of Jewish humor passed down from generation to generation but explains the cultural expressions and anxieties behind the laughs.

Very haimish, absolutely loved it!

My fiancée and I enjoyed listening to this book immensely. It was quality time together with a quality book. The jokes resonated with both of us, with her being Sephardic and me Ashkenazik.
I personally enjoyed this as I grew up listening to these Jewish comedians. They helped to mold the sense of humor I have today. I like to say, while my fiancée was learning from the likes of Rambam, Maimonides, Nachmonides, Tarfon and Eliezer, I was learning from The Marx Brothers, Three Stooges, Lenny Bruce, Don Rickles, Rodney Dangerfield, Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld, Gilbert Godfried, Mort Sal, Henry Yungman, and honorary Jew Robin Williams. Thank you for the laughs and insightful stories. I will be buying the hardback book and adding it to my library of Jewish Humor books.

Well done- story line, narration, and performance. The heroine was a bit irrational and capricious for my taste but she is likable. Alex is a magnetic tiger with all the traits of one too.
