Historia
In 2059, two vastly different groups of people portrayed by the compelling trio of Brendan Fraser (Academy Award winner), Luke Kirby (Emmy Award winner), and Vanessa Sears (Dora Award winner) undergo cryonic suspension. While their bodies are frozen, their minds, still active and awake, are uploaded into a massive quantum computer. The first group are all astronauts, about to leave Earth on a one-way interstellar colonization mission. The second group consists of convicted murderers and volunteers who elect to serve their sentences in a virtual-reality prison.

Historia
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

It’s very seldom that we get to hear a different perspective on what’s happening in the world. Nobody likes to question the masses, but this book does a brilliant job of questioning the narrative that we are constantly fed.

Historia
For a lot of people, the biggest question about God isn't, surprisingly enough, whether he exists. Instead, it's about whether God is truly good. Dinesh D'Souza, in his debates with leading atheists, quickly realized that many of his debates would revolve around the question of evil in this world and how God could create a world that allowed such suffering and evil. In Godforsaken, Dinesh D'Souza takes these questions head-on. Does God act like a tyrant? Is God really responsible for the evil in this world? Why is there suffering in the world?

An entertaining illumination of the stupid beliefs that make us feel wise. You believe you are a rational, logical being who sees the world as it really is, but journalist David McRaney is here to tell you that you're as deluded as the rest of us. But that's OK - delusions keep us sane. You Are Not So Smart is a celebration of self-delusion. It's like a psychology class, with all the boring parts taken out, and with no homework. Based on the popular blog of the same name, You Are Not So Smart collects more than 46 of the lies we tell ourselves everyday.

Better than most books
Revisado: 12-08-15
I am glad I read this book but I'm not sure I would recommend it to people with limited leisure time.
Like so many of these kinds of books, it could've been done in five chapters instead of 11.
Yet at the same time, I understand how you sometimes need to fill a book with extra filler so you can call it a book, when really it would've made a great magazine article.
On the other hand if you have tons of time to spare, I definitely would recommend this book

Historia
The Goldfinch is a haunted odyssey through present-day America and a drama of enthralling force and acuity. It begins with a boy. Theo Decker, a 13-year-old New Yorker, miraculously survives an accident that kills his mother. Abandoned by his father, Theo is taken in by the family of a wealthy friend. Bewildered by his strange new home on Park Avenue, disturbed by schoolmates who don't know how to talk to him, and tormented above all by his unbearable longing for his mother, he clings to one thing that reminds him of her: a small, mysteriously captivating painting that ultimately draws Theo into the underworld of art.

The most fun you can have listening to a book
Revisado: 03-18-13
Would you consider the audio edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy to be better than the print version?
Listening is better than reading in this case because of all the different characters, and the fact the man performing / reading the book changes is voice for each character.
What other book might you compare The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy to and why?
I know no other book like or even close to what 'The HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy' is.
Which character – as performed by Stephen Fry – was your favorite?
Ford
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Probability of you loving this movie is 100%
