A very enjoyable book

This author is a very talented writer. I like her writing style as well as her brilliance in developing this story with very few facts available. I enjoyed reading about Eric and Mabel. The ending was the icing on the cake. I plan to listen to this recording again as I read along with this wonderful book. I plan to read all of this author's books. Thank you to Camille Di Maio for creating this very special book.

What a magnificent story of perseverance and endurance.

This is a book that will be impossible to put down. I finished listening and reading along in one day. The narrator did an outstanding performance bringing this book to life. Addie was such an easy character to adore. She fought her way through a life that was so tragic. It was difficult to read about the abuse she had to endure. Thank goodness for the female support along with Isaac that guided her through such rough,cruel,and wicked treatment. God became her companion thanks to Addie's friends. To reach the end of this book with such a special ending was worth the pain it took to read how badly Addie was treated. The second book in this series will be my next read after finishing book one. I so love Tracie Peterson's books.

A great start to a series

This story captured me from the beginning. I finished in one day. The narrator was outstanding. The characters grabbed my attention and kept me reading because I was so invested in their story. The book was filled with history as well as drama. The author is such a gifted writer. I would be honored to place all of Jennifer Chiaverini's books on my bookshelves.

Such a special holiday story

This most enjoyable story held my attention. The narrator enhanced this book as I always hope will happen when I choose to listen. I enjoyed Adelaide's relationship with the father she finally met. This character was such a likable one.

A gem of a story

This book had everything I look for when I select a book to read. This author has a perfect track record with all of her books. The precious couple touched my heart. What a wonderful place this world would be if all couples could love each other like Addy and Howard. I fell in love with the brother and sister in this book. The addition of verses from the Bible enhanced this book as well as a few quotes. I listened to this book from Audible. The narrator had the most soothing and soft reading voice. The narration was flawless. I purchased this book for my sister as a Christmas book.

A Masterpiece

I chose to listen to this book as well as follow along with the book. The story hooked me from the start to finish. All of the narrators were flawless throughout the book.. This is one of the best books I have ever chosen to listen along with the book. This book was so well written. The story was very interesting as well as the characters. The passion this masterful author has for this subject was very evident. This book is so worthy of choosing to read and listen along. I will listen to this book again. I will miss this book now that I have finished it. The story and characters will stay with me for a long time to come. Thank you to this author for entertaining me royally.

I started this book early this morning and did not stop until I finished it. I loved it so much I could read it again right after finishing it. This author's books are simply the best. Including Bible verses at the beginning of each chapter makes this book so much more meaningful. The characters are always well developed by Tessa Afshar. The chapters are filled with action. I am on a mission to read all of Tessa's books,as are my sister and best friend. Thank you to this amazingly gifted author. Thank you for creating stories that entertain readers. I especially enjoyed the narrator of this Audible book.

This conversation between Glen and Max has been a gift so very much worthy of listening to,absorbing and a must to share with friends,family,and the people who are not believers. A highly entertaining,feel good story

I loved the two main characters, plus the dog and the humor. Mary Kay Andrews entertains her readers like no other author. She must have had so much fun writing this story. The narrator was the icing on the cake;such talent.

Fascinating and thought provoking

This book was so interesting. Once I started I did not want to stop. The scripture included throughout the book is scripture I will refer to often. This is a book I will listen to and reread. I will also read the other books written by this author.
