Great forward-thinking tech vision of government

Required reading for anyone, especially tech nerds, passionate about understanding the nuts and bolts of why government can constantly fall short of its policy goals in its implementation and primitive tech infrastructure. And what a positive vision for more tech-savy and user friendly government services looks like that can help rebuild lost trust between the government and its citizens. A deeply illuminating and long needed book in the political discourse about the actual logistics of implementing our policy goals.

This is a superb work of immense recent history, investigative reporting and analysis about why American society and government delayed action on climate change and other crucial public health issues over the past several decades. It is a great testament to the value of scientific literary and living as an informed citizen in a fragile democracy.
