Historia
In the greatest intelligence operation in the history of the world, Donald Trump was made president of the United States with the assistance of a foreign power. For the first time, The Plot to Destroy Democracy reveals the dramatic story of how blackmail, espionage, assassination, and psychological warfare were used by Vladimir Putin and his spy agencies to steal the 2016 US election. It will show how Russia and its fifth column allies tried to flip the cornerstones of democracy in order to reengineer the world political order that kept most of the world free since since 1945.

Terrible Narration
Revisado: 04-25-20
My experience with this book was ruined by the terrible narration. It was difficult to get past the smug, preachy manner of the narrator’s delivery, and what was especially irritating was listening to him elongate and over pronounce every third word, for what I can only assume was for dramatic effect.
The content was valuable and very thought provoking, although I think some of the denigrating descriptions of people were unnecessary and detracted from the important message.
For anyone interested in this book, I would encourage you to get a print version to spare yourself of that horrible narrator.

Well written and intriguing
Revisado: 04-17-20
Great narration and a well written story. It kept your interest throughout and the characters were developed well without being under or overdone.
The only reason for 4 stars for the story is that I wish the author had decided to keep the supernatural line rather than assigning a rational explanation. Of course that would have changed the entire message of the story, but for me, that would have made it more mysterious and exciting. That’s not an indictment of the author’s talent, just my own self interest as a reader!

Historia
Jim Nicholson was one of the CIA's top veteran case officers. By day he taught spycraft at the CIA's clandestine training center, The Farm. By night he was a minivan-driving single father racing home to have dinner with his kids. But Nicholson led a double life. For more than two years, he had met covertly with agents of Russia's foreign intelligence service and turned over troves of classified documents. In 1997 Nicholson became the highest-ranking CIA officer ever convicted of espionage.

Historia
In the late 1970s, the National Security Agency still did not officially exist - those in the know referred to it dryly as the No Such Agency. So why, when NSA engineer Charles Gandy filed for a visa to visit Moscow, did the Russian Foreign Ministry assert with confidence that he was a spy? Outsmarting honey traps and encroaching deep enough into enemy territory to perform complicated technical investigations, Gandy accomplished his mission in Russia but discovered more than State and CIA wanted him to know.

Dull Dull Dull
Revisado: 09-02-19
Not “thrilling” as the description states. It’s obvious the author gathered the content from publicly available information. The story lacks the emotion of the people about whom the story revolved.
It’s dull, We have a blind spot that needs to be corrected. That’s the entire story - which was not written or read in a compelling way.
And the author has an annoying lisp.
