Is there anything you would change about this book?

The drama between Jenna and Seth got old really quickly. There was enough drama between them in the earlier books where I thought they would grow and learn to deal with their feeling and emotions in a more adult fashion. Jenna needs to grow up.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The introduction of the relationship between Talia and Allen saved the story for me. I loved getting to know Mason and seeing the interactions of the kids and Allen. More of this would have been appreciated, less of the drama between Jenna and Seth.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narration match the pace and would have been great except I did not like the "country accent" the narrator adopted for Regina and other characters throughout the book

Could you see Dating a Metro Man being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Not in its current version; however, any of the previous 3 books I would go see as a movie and/or a TV series. Not a big TV watchers so don't know the current stars.

Any additional comments?

This was my least favorite of the series; however, it was still an okay read. As a disclaimer, maybe I enjoyed reading about people in my age group better and just not so interested in the drama of the "metro" set.

Would you consider the audio edition of Dating a Saint to be better than the print version?

No, the written version was better. No sure that I enjoyed the different voices used during the narration. In the written version, my vision of the characters did not fit the voices heard in the audio edition.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Loved Lauren. She was such a contradiction, she was so nice and fragile but able to kick butt with the best of them. Who would believe she had several black belts (smile). I would have loved for Jared (her ex) to "learn" more about her fighting skills. My second favorite was Hector. What a loving and caring person. Without him, life for Lauren and Jim would have been different.

What does Anne Johnstonbrown bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She interjected expression in the narration of the book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Life is a Journey, Never Give up on Happiness!

Any additional comments?

This was my favorite of the series.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely! It was better than the first book and that one was good.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I did not have one favorite, I loved the friendship that existed between the women and the developing friendship between the alpha males. They were supportive but willing to laugh when one of them was acting "crazy".

Which scene was your favorite?

There were so many good moments, but I enjoyed the reactions that Regina received from her friends when they found her crying about the newswoman touching Ben.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was, it is a good road trip book because you don't have distractions and you can enjoy the full story.

Where does Dating a Cougar rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Although not my first audio book, it is my first from this author. I read this book when it was originally released and loved it. It starts slow, but get better as the story continues. McDonald writes a very good book and like the written version this ranks as one that I would listen to again.

What did you like best about this story?

I love it that the characters are not in there 20s but well established in life with many life experiences (very different for each of them) to draw from. It was great that they did not let the “little things” grow into unnecessary major conflicts.

I liked both Alexa and Casey, they were both mature and confident individuals. The chemistry between them is great and leads to some steamy moments. The supporting cast was lovable and I look forward to learning about them. I love the supporting cast.

What about Anne Johnstonbrown’s performance did you like?

Although I found the narrator a bit odd at the beginning of the book, the narration improved as she got into the book. She did a great job with the individual voices and allowing the listener to determine who was talking. Listening to the audio version provided a different view of the events of the book.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I enjoyed both the written and audio versions of the books. There were definitely times when I laugh and there was some sadness but no tears this time around.

Any additional comments?

Disclosure - I received a copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions and ratings are my own.
