Useless
Revisado: 02-07-24
This book has nothing to do with feeding aversions. It is just some very basic information about feeding options for infants through two years old. At times, the information is so basic that one imagines the book was written by an alien fascinated by human babies. Much of the information is simply listed out with bullet points.
My second baby has an actual feeding aversion, and this book provides no help. I don't think it would have helped with my first child who had no special needs. Most of the information here could have been gained by a very small amount of life experience.

Historia
There's a time to be a friend, but there's also a time when you need to put your foot down and set some ground rules. This audiobook is for any parent - experienced or just starting out - to learn how to set boundaries very early on and how to be an effective parent. This guide shows the different modules of parenting and how findings from persons such as Diana Baumrind show how effective discipline methods can help grow your child into a fully functional adult.

Random chapter on ancient samuri
Revisado: 06-26-23
I wish I had read the only other review on this before listening. The second chapter is not about parenting at all, but about the honor system of bushido among samuri. I kept listening, thinking the author was going to link it back to parenting. What a waste of time. Eventually I skipped forward, and discovered it wad just some random chapter with no correlation to parenting.
The voice of the narrator is harsh and hard to listen to. There are also some errors in the reading, such as when the narrator, in the first chapter, tells us that "authoritative parenting can also be seen as neglectful parenting." One finds it hard to trust anything the author says with such obvious errors.
The entire first chapter is extremely repetitive. It could have been summarized in a few paragraphs.
Now I am listening to the third chapter, but it is grating on the ears, so I think I'll move to something else.

Listened to it twice!

I loved Ms. Greenwood's inquiry into the world of death fraud. Her perspective was personally-relevant and thought-provoking.
