Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Good but could've gone deeper
Revisado: 04-29-23
The book was good. He presented it as not just a biography but his philosophy. Most reviewers seem to be angry it wasn't quite 100% either. I found value in many things he said. I didn't in others. But he put it out there and I respect it. I don't see a problem with loving yourself and not being ashamed about it. Most people hate themselves and are mean so I'll take it! I found the stories fun. Some say unbelievable but I've found that almost anything is possible and who am I to say it didn't happen. Overall I enjoyed it but not sure I really understood how to use his philosophy. The biography was fun and the philosophy didn'tvgo deep enough more me understand the application very well.

Worst upward inflection/high rising terminal
Revisado: 07-28-20
Do like every sentence to sound like a question? Plus her breathy airy tone added to it to make a special kind of unbearable. I had to use a different version. Not for me. I couldn't even follow the story it was so distracting and emotionless.

Fun and entertaining travel book
Revisado: 10-29-18
I really enjoy the writers experiences and history of the areas he visited. He read really fast for me some days it was almost to fast and energetic for me to handle! Overall a very informative and entertaining read and I am glad he wrote it for us. I recommend getting the hard copy so you can bookmark it and reread and investigate it better. I plan on picking up the real book myself to take along when I head that way.

Tedious at times but very interesting

I feel like these books are best read and not listened too because listening to constant inventories is tiresome. I realize they are included to give a glimpse of their living but listening to it was not in my liking.
That aside, it is a good story about a character I knew only a little. As always written well by this author but not my favorite of them all.

I feel like this would be me, I honestly loved it and couldn't stop listening and finished it in record time. I don't even finish most audio books tbh because I like to hear the voices in my imagination but her reading performance was awesome!
