This is just a middle of the road story. it has an array of unlikable characters which made it hard for me to be invested in the story. world building and circumstances were interesting. Drama was kinda silly. Again it's like a bus full of idiots and sociopaths.

great fun to read, but expect an hour of preview at the end. I appreciate that they do this, but can be missleading.

overall enjoy the story, however it is to short. I'll likely not pick up the 2nd audio book. might read it down the road, but I personally don't get the hype. there are some better works by independent publishers so check them out.

destroyed book in last chapter

overall it is a slice of life adventure litrpg. then 10 minutes left in last chapter the author decides to develop any sort of plot in book 2 of the series! the form by which he does this is in the worst way. there is no longer any connection to the characters in the book he spent 2 books building... read between the lines. just the worst ending ever.

I hope this book gets more buzz. MC is likable and real. story is rich and deep. enjoy!

I respect what the authors were trying to do here, but the story was just not enjoyable as a result. for being litrpg it did not feel as such. half the book was enough time to get there and it didn't. maybe I should have given it more time, but, no.

good story, poorly casted narrator

sorry is pretty good, some slow build Harem elements which is why we have the narrator we do here. but, there are not enough "romance scenes" to warrant. Feels like a sultry William Shatner is reading the whole time. I enjoy the story though!

cliche overload

just as title says. cliche villain, cliche zero to hero story, cliche love interest, cliche ending, cliche hero motivation. story is just about as basic as they come. That being said, this is an adults opinion and the book is not targeted for my audience so, maybe, take this opinion with a grain of salt if you are looking for a Disney knockoff esk Tower book.

on that note, weak AF tower climb elements. You really dont read much of any There is one secret revealed in the book that i did not expect and found gave interest.

Doubt ill continue the series.

Narration was alright, but again, cliche villain voices just scream "bad egg" and makes it that much more of a. Disney Read-a-long.

puffery and run around

Story starts out strong, but quickly becomes a string of just running around filled in with tangent conversation. the strong climatic finish that would have made this book good got pushed to the next in epic cliffhanger fashion.

narration remains as epic as with the previous books.
