Amazing, captivating series

I'm not usually one for reverse harem series but this one is one for the ages. This is reverse harem done amazingly well and how it should be.

Mariposa is a wonderful, strong and captivating heroine. In this second book you will fall in love with Mariposa's first love, Reaper. A strong yet gentle man who loves Mari with all his heart. They are a great couple! Stick with it and this series will captivate and find out diving into a world that is built with such wonderful description you'll just find yourself falling right in and not wanting to leave.

The narration of this series is amazing and both Kiera and Troy do an amazing job with all of the characters. I've loved it so much, I've listened to the entire series twice and will do so again in the future!

However, it was just a small part of the overall story and a brief introduction to these characters. Stick with it and this series will captivate and find out diving into a world that is built with such wonderful description you'll just find yourself falling right in and not wanting to leave.

The narration of this series is amazing and both Kiera and Troy do an amazing job with all of the characters. I've loved it so much, I've listened to the entire series twice and will do so again in the future!

Amazing, HOT, Forbidden and Irresistible!

I spent some time after reading the reviews trying to decide if I wanted to spend the credit on this book. I was worried this type of romance could come off as cheap and sacrilegious. I have never been so happy to be wrong. This book was outright AMAZING, HOT, STEAMY, ANGSTY and RAW.

Sierra did an outstanding job capturing the reality of Tyler's journey into love as a priest. His emotions were so raw, so captivating, so real and so authentic it was painful to read at times. Painful in a fantastic way...real. I loved the premise of this book now that I have read it and I believe Sierra captured this situation in a beautiful way. I loved the depth, strength and character development of both Tyler and Poppy out of their assigned life roles into ones they created together.

It is definitely worth the credit and I wish I had done so sooner. This was such a refreshing new love story.

Love, Love, LOVE this series!

I want to start by saying I have never been a fan of multiple partner books because they tend to gear towards unrealistic amazing sex without addressing the relationship issues that can arise.

That said, this series is AMAZING! The way the relationships are handled in this post apocalyptic style world is just swoon worthy. This series actually had me wondering if such relationships are actually possible. Something I had always considered crazy before. It made me yearn for such openness and love. All of the H's and the h feel authentic, are not overly dramatic and yet are strong and soft at the same time. The humanity I feel with this series is just hard to describe.

The world building is fantastic and both narrators do an ASTOUNDINGLY EXCELLENT job with all of the characters. Troy Duran's voice is so damn sexy and he captures the individuality of each of the male characters so well.

If I have any complaint at all, it is that the series is coming out too slowly on Audible. I had to buy the kindle versions and read those while I wait for the audible versions. And yes, it is such a great series that I have no problem buying both. I want the story line and so have read every book she's finished in this series but I also adore the narration of these so much that I'll get each one as they come out here as well. Please DO NOT CHANGE NARRATORS in this series!

Lovely historical romance

I used to read all of JL's books and read this one years ago. I decided to see what this one was like narrated on audible and was very disappointed. I love the story and both the H/h in this book. I adore the world JL has built for the Malory's, however this narrator made the H sound terrible.

Great book, awful narrator.

Fantastic and refreshing new world

I really enjoyed the premise of the new species. Ella and Fury's story was well thought out and well written. I really enjoyed this book and am very much looking forward to reading the rest of the series. The female narrator was good but this series would do much better with dual narration. The new species needs a deep male narrator for the male parts.

Not Enjoyable

While I love great sex, the actual story, romantic development and narration was not my cup of tea. The narrator really grated on my nerves by chapter two and it was all I could do to finish the book.

I did not appreciate the hero and his massive arrogance. His love did not come through at all, merely dominance and obsessive type actions.

The heroine is a police officer who is weak as a woman. What a disappointment.

Absolutely perfect!

I reluctantly decided to give this book a shot after reading the reviews. I am so happy I did! This book, the narration, and sound effects were wonderful! I've now listened to this book 6 times and have also downloaded and listened to all of the books in this series.

For me, Lisa is the perfect heroine! She is strong without being strident, vulnerable without being weak, open without being sappy or naive, loving and brave without being foolish. She is honorable, honest, smart and overall the most real woman I have read in a book in a long, long time. She is the type of person I make friends with, hold close and value. it is no wonder Grim learns to do the same.

Grim is a fantastic hero! He is strong without being arrogant, vulnerable without appearing weak, sexy and not totally aware of it due to his scars and the reaction to those scars in the society in which he lives. The way he opens up to Lisa in this book is incredible. In a world with so few females he takes a chance few men would be brave enough to take. He lets her in, treats her with respect and equality, all while loving her with all he is. Who wouldn't want that?

The world building in this book is very well done and remains well done all the way up to Ull's book so far. It is an interesting concept, a fascinating world and I will continue to read this series. I too want to read Rebecca and Callan's book and many others. I want to learn more about each of the earth women and I really hope that M.K. Eidem continues to write such wonderful characters.

This book and this series is one I will read and reread over time. This will be a keeper for me.
