This book was like one long rambling train of thought from the brain of a shallow, self centered character.

I couldn't finish. After listening for an hour I realized that I had listened to this book before. After 2 hours, I remembered that I hadnt finished it the first time around.

I think that the narration was well done but the actual book had no storyline. There were occasional glipses of what might be engaging characters but otherwise it was just 14 hours of repeating character stats.

I will be honest and say that I originally picked these books for the length of listening time for 1 credit. I have over 1600 titles in my Audible library and I like listening to longer books. I was immediately captured by the characters and unique world building. I consider myself lucky for chanced upon such a jewel. I have listened to this series twice and enjoyed every minute of it!

Great story but the narrator, Kenny Heyborne, ruins the flow with all of his shouting! Unfortunately this is the second series the narrator has ruined for me.

Great trilogy

Great old school fantasy at it's best! I was so pleasantly surprised since it originally caught my eye due to the length of the book. I would have paid for each book separately and thought it a great deal!

I have thousands of books in my Audible library and I can literally count on one hand the number of reviews I have left. I try to save them for the best of the best. This new series is one of them. I enjoyed Micheal Wiseheart's White Tower series very much but somehow this series is even better. Michael Wiseheart has become one of my top five favorite authors after reading the beginning of this series! I can't wait for more.

An absolute TREASURE

I have listened to literally tens of thousands of audio books and have only taken the time to review a handful. This book, actually entire series of books, was an absolute TREASURE to have found and listened to. Through out the entire book I was continuously amazed and overjoyed at the originality , imagination and storytelling genius that went into the creation of this book. J. A. White has been added to my short list of favorite authors!!!

Narrator ruined the story!!!

I am a huge Ilina Andrewa fan and have read/listened to all of their other books multiple times and enjoyed all of them however I couldn't finish this book because of the dead flat narrative. I hope that any further Grey Wolf books will have a different narrator !!!!
