A truly wonderful read.

This book had to be hard to write. It is always easier to let the world believe what they think is true, but Harry uncovers many things that require pause. No question Harry is his mother’s son. Pulling back the curtain of any institution will always be met with doubt. I respect Harry for telling his story. The cost he has paid before and after this book will be enormous to him. Very brave and admirable.

If you are looking for details about her and her husband, and his band, The Cars, don’t buy this. This is a book from a woman who has dealt with hard knocks in life, and has learned a lot of which she shares.

Incredibly well done.

I have read a number of books about the Kennedy family. I couldn’t imagine how this book would offer anything different. I was very pleasantly surprised to listen to this very well written and engaging story, The author does an excellent job of combining facts and fiction in a smooth and comprehensive manner. The narration could not have been better. I can’t wait to read more from this author and hear more from this narrator. I recommend this book highly.

I know the Motown story incredibly well. The narration was very good, but it is the same old story. What turned me completely off to this book was in two areas, the facts are wrong.

#1 - Sam Cooke did not die in 1953. He died in 1964.

#2 - Mary Wells was referred to as May wells.

Where is Quality Control

I listened to this book for about 4 hours. What was incredibly disappointing was that there was no editing. If the author/narrator made a mistake, he just reread the line. What the heck...the story is very detailed about Selena and her life, but I couldn't get past the narration and lack of editing.

Truly Fantastic!

I started listening to this book and thought it would just be OK. I just finished this book after missing many hours of sleep. I could not stop listening. What a wonderful narration and an incredible story by someone who sat in the first row from beginning to end. Kudos, Todd Fisher. What a story, what a tribute.

I love everything this author does. At times, this book could be horribly sad, but she writes with such honesty and integrity. The fact that she narrates this book, and at times it had to be hard, is nothing less then impressive.

I really enjoyed listening to Rob Lowe. Although I've never followed his work, I know who he is. He comes across as smart thoughtful and humble. Truly enjoyable listen!

I've listen to so many books about record executives as well as artists and musicians. This book is very well done. The narrator is excellent and adds a lot of energy to the book. The story itself is interesting and inspiring. I highly recommend.
