Historia
Corin Cadence has been summoned to meet with the Emerald Council, a political summit including the most powerful of all attuned and their closest political allies. His summons came with a dire warning—that war was coming to the nation of Valia. While Valia is no stranger to warfare, the circumstances of this invasion are dire. Valia's visage, Tenjin, remains missing. Many of the nation's leaders were slain during Mizuchi's attack, and others killed or injured through Saffron's machinations. With a critical power vacuum in Valia's leadership, few can be trusted.

slow build
Revisado: 04-22-25
I still believe less of the constant repeating of mathematical calculations on power levels, less tslking about how far Caiden or others are above or below a level. it's very tedious. Why is it after everything they've been through they still act like dumb teenagers on day 1? they've all grown but seem incapable of stopping to think for 30 seconds vs running off half cocked with a half thought out plan.
some parts of this book could have been much better, the introduction of the Show Off didn't glow right. it just seemed tossed in for no reason. How about what happened with the Hyrophant? seemed rushed with lots of left out details. Mara and Patrick foung unknown special training? for what? btw I hate hate hate Patrick. his foolish faith and naivety annoy me to no end. He's the dumbest of the group and refuses to just shut up and listen ever.
Last but not least, We've spent all this time with the MC and his group but I think you need at the very least some side chapters explaining what is going on in the Towers. what exactly are the visages? Why are they fighting exactly? why is it they refuse to let anybody speak to the so called Goddess? better yet whete is she? they work for her. why is she letting this occur? we need some details on these Visages that aren't just rumor

Revisado: 03-25-25
I admitted wasn't really sure what I was getting into.Based on just the preview, I listened to but I took the chance, and i'm glad I did. the storyline was engaging.
For the most part, and it was packed with humor that rolled well with the story. i admittedly did have a hard time with how the main character repeatedly.
Acted like a fool and her constant self deprecation but I felt that as the story progressed onwards her views changed and even grew. i wish we had been given more in the first book about the world . She ends up in. I feel like maybe that's something that should be in the very first book to really explain this world, but also the fact that nobody seems to explain anything to her. I mean, certain things just don't make sense. Such as the eating habits of the Dawn. or how classes and skills eitk etc. uts like everyone expect her to judt know everything. Little things like this go a long ways imo. I'm willing yo give this book 4/5 stars because as I said, the story wasn't horrible and the narrator did an amazing job of pulling it all together and making it entertaining. May the Lesbisn Necromancer live long. p.s. that was a good little surprise in there

Many years and even more levels have passed since Jake and friends entered Nevermore. With quite a number of floors passed, they turn their attention to the Challenge Dungeons. These Challenge Dungeons offer – as the name suggests – unique challenges and circumstances, and completing them will earn each Nevermore competitor points and multipliers to their existing points. As things unfold, it quickly becomes clear it’s through these dungeons that the true top-scorer of the Nevermore Leaderboards will be found.

Drags out in some places
Revisado: 03-16-25
WARNING SOME SPOILERS INVOLVED:
I love Primal Hunter and I feel it compares somewhat to books like Defiance of the Fall but honestly it's much much better. The only problems I had with Primal Hunter 11 were what I felt were wasted times on repeats. First example is the the Coliseum Arc. How many times did we need to repeat what Jakes impression was of the fighters? How many times must we rehash that Jake's fighting strategies?? All in all that just got repetitively ridiculous honestly. Next we have the House of the Architect Arc. Jake's repeated self doubt, his repeated self admonishment over his teaching and how his student turned out was just ridiculous! We get it, he's unhappy but yet he chose to do nothing knowing the outcome. It was way way way to much and it was just out of place.
Third": Jake's repeated arrogant stupid questioning of EVERYTHING got very annoying. He needs to learn to just shut up and take feedback when given vs always having a smart mouthed come back. He's C grade and growing fast. He needs to learn to just play the game when it is required. Stop poking everybody
Now for a little side not; I loved the little meeting of Jake and the other gods but I felt like it totally got short cutted for the waste of that was the boring repeat of the Architect. It would have been much much more fun to watch Jason and the Gods meet especially since it's the very first time he's met the true gods like Valdemar, or The Death Father or the Holy Mother (which I thought there would honestly be more there being Jakes opinion on her). Here is to hoping for more in the future especially now that they all know how Jake stands compared to them. The fact that Valdemar loves Jake really isn't a surprise and honestly I get the impression he' really is thrilled to have somebody that stood toe to toe with him in a battle of aura AND protected the weakest Goddess amongst the group; he legitimately was proud of his loss. Although I previously said Jake's smart mouth was a disappointment I have to also say I felt there was a missed opportunity for Jake to tell Valdemar that Gudrun was a poor conversationalist. Also where is Umbra? you mean she doesn't' care somebody bested her..? Lame!!!
Lastly I'm disappointed this book didn't just wrap up all the challenge Dungeons. I sure hope we really need a whole book for the never ending journey.
Oh yeah final parting words: JAKE HAS A GIRLFRIEND JAKE HAS A GIRLFRIEND. JAKE AND ARTEMIS SITTING IN A TREE. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!!!

don't believe positive reviews. Garbage writing!!!
Revisado: 09-17-24
I'm done with this garbage book series. the main character is a useless whiny, little thing that everybody eoukd be better without, he'll the book would be better if she died. The other MC is ridiculously overseas analyzing and critical. Then this trash of an Author adds absolutely useless POV changes for no other reason than to drag out the story to try and hide her very poor writing. Nothing gets accaccomplished in the story except to repeat the last 10 chapters over and over and over. The moment something actually changes then boom right back to the useless whiney mc. She is so blatantly stupid that it isn't funny. everybody is supposed to adapt to her. ooh yeah let's not forget that nobody cares at all about the stupid clown.
The narrator is mid tier at best. needs more practice because as it is all characters start to sound alike. this story gets a maximum 2 stars.
so if you thought this review bounced, welcome to the story

"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

MC is cringe wirthy
Revisado: 08-29-24
This could be an amazing story, and in some rights it is an amazing story. Unfortunately, the author's overuse of the whiny good-for-nothing mc kills it. Both MCs are horrible.
One constantly whines and complains about how things aren't fair. How she doesn't like it. How things shouldn't be done this way, and how her way is the only right way, despite being the newcomer to this world. MC number 2 has serious daddy issues. And is your typical spoiled rich mean girl that thinks everybody else is mean to her Despite the fact that she treats of a real like shit.
Sometimes I think the author was going for word count and trying to mimic George R. R martin with over detailing everything. Just when the story could get really good, we're back to the two whining m c's, and no real details are ever given as to what caused these people who randomly appear in this world. The final boss could have made for a great part of the story. But instead, we just repetitively repeated over and over and over again, what it does. Then there's the inconsistencies, how does a boss monster? Let itself out of a room that has been magically sealed??
The narrator on the other hand I give full stars to. She was absolutely amazing and did a wonderful job with the narration, and the voicing of the characters and giving them life. I can happily listen to another story Narrated by her, Unfortunately, I don't know if I could listen to another story in this series based on how poorly this first book was written.

poor addition
Revisado: 07-23-24
Very much a repeat of the last twelve. Here we are on book thirteen with very little to no progress at all, and the overall story. Furthermore, we have very little in the way of character development, we still have the. M c p doing this same foolish actions as have always been done. In one lone chapter, the author continuously repetitively insists on reminding the breeder or listener that the M c's skills. Are not at the proper grade level to combat the situation. We don't need to be repetitively reminded of this.Let alone repetitively told in one chapter. I don't know who JF brink is as they seem to be. The most covert author I have ever encountered that not even Google can dig up any information on them, but they seriously need better. Editors and proof readers. Without these changes, this story could drag on for unknown number of books and get nowhere

We've spent up to now fairly confined to Earth. And very pointedly, directed at jake, with some brief glimpses into the viper. Now, though with this book, we are starting to stretch into the multiverse. We're learning more information about the various factions. And in my opinion, most importantly of all, we're starting to get glimpses of the Viper himself glimpse is that before we're just kinda brushed over. Whereas, now we're starting to get into a little more details. The entire Yip of Yore conflict will be fun to.wstch because we a know Jake is going to screw up.his plans without trying

too short, forgotten info
Revisado: 07-11-24
I did enjoy the story but I found some characters' names have been changed to be pronounced differently, which is really a minor detail, but still after sixteen books makes a difference. The entire Back-and-forth of Van. Be a master, don't be a master. It's actually annoying because if you recall back in the early books he stated he would take up the mantle if ever offered to him. He did not wish to be like his grandfather and avoid the opportunity to make a positive change. And yet here we have him doing just that.. There really isn't anything about the 32 in this book. Other than one line reference, but I feel it is pastime. Two just pull back the The curtain on that, if they're really calling the shots as so claimed and such a digital imp. Paperwork oriented Guild. There has to be some record somewhere of who ordered something to be done, such as giving instructions to a Master.
The ending was entertaining, though I think it's something we all saw coming for quite a while where there was gonna be that confrontation. The involvement of ICE was amusing though as was the AF Officer being asked about Slavery. I reaaaaally want to see how this all plays out and I hope it doesn't get c
