Historia
When we step into curiosity, we find we have a choice to see the world through other people’s eyes. To imagine what their experiences are, even though we cannot know them directly. From here, we can begin to understand and utilize our agency. The power we hold over interpreting our day-to-day experiences and the stories we end up telling ourselves about them, i.e., "our truths." Too often, this leads to selling ourselves short, or worse, selling ourselves out, resulting in death by a thousand papercuts.

A guide to awakening yourself through one man's jo
Revisado: 11-14-23
We may not be aware of the toll that life's "papercuts" are taking on ourselves or where we have given up our agency of choice. Throughout this book, Brent shares with us his journey of discovering the papercuts and delusions that were keeping him from living as his best and true self.
I really appreciate how Brent shared personal stories in a way that helped me to both realize some of my own blindspots and give context for how I can apply theses learnings to my own personal journey.

Historia
Robert Kiyosaki - author of the #1 personal finance book of all time - has built a legacy around simplifying complex and often-confusing subjects like money and investing. He continues to challenge conventional wisdom and asks the questions that will help listeners sift through today's information overload to uncover ways to assess what's real... and what isn't. And use truth and facts as a foundation for taking control of their financial lives. In this new book, Robert fights what’s "fake" and helps listeners differentiate between what’s real...and what isn’t.

Good information...but gets a bit redundant
Revisado: 10-02-21
This book really made me think and has inspired me to assess and change my current beliefs and behaviors. If you found value in Robert's other books, you'll probably like this one too.
My only major criticism is that a lot of the stories were repeated throughout the book. For written word this might not be all that bad if you are treating the book like a buffet and skipping around to chapters of interest. However, for spoken word the repetition didn't work as well, if the repeated stories were condensed and meant as reminders it would have been okay, but there felt like verbatim repeats. Near the end of the book I felt like this problem started to go away as the repeats were condensed.
Overall, even with this complaint, the book was still well worth the listen. Just removed a star because of the repetitive factor.
