an interesting world
Revisado: 09-26-24
The book was easy to follow and had some amazing twists that you suspected but didn't really see coming. I couldn't stop listening to the book once it really got going. My only complaint is that it ended, it felt like there is more to the story.

Historia
On his last combat deployment, Lt. Cmdr. James Reece's entire team was killed in an ambush that also claimed the lives of the aircrew sent in to rescue them. But when those dearest to him are murdered on the day of his homecoming, Reece discovers that this was not an act of war by a foreign enemy but a conspiracy that runs to the highest levels of government. Now, with no family and free from the military's command structure, Reece applies the lessons that he's learned in over a decade of constant warfare toward revenge.

how close to real life the story is
Revisado: 07-10-24
Great character the path to revenge is clever and thought out. This book keeps you engaged and you can't help but root for James the whole time. With every victory you feel a sense of satisfaction that sometimes makes you question your own bloodlust.

The last couple of books had been a bit depressing. It seemed that the heros if humanity had just been cast away and forced to survive in the worldliness. This book tied it together and well done.

Historia
My name's Noah Kilmartin. I'm from Ruddock, Ohio, and I'm absolutely, 100 percent unqualified to save the universe from the slavering demonic hordes of the super evil queen Lilith. Too bad nobody asked my opinion. All I've got to do is pass five lethal trials that'll prove I'm the universe's last chance at salvation. To do so, I'll have to lean hard on those three years of Okinawan jiu-jutsu classes I took in high school, learn to wield my new magic sword, and, oh yeah - select five women to flesh out my team.

Great book and series
Revisado: 01-18-23
This book was awesome, and it is a great start to a good series. The journey Noah takes from being a week nerd with a boyhood crush to a person with a mission and conviction. As you read through the next book and the next, his transformation is fun to follow. Noah is an unlikely hero who finds himself throughout the book and, in a way, asserts to himself that he is worth something more

Historia
In 2020, the American economy suffered the biggest financial collapse in history. But while Main Street suffered like never before, the stock market continued to reach new highs. How could this be? The answer is that government had slapped oppressive restrictions on small businesses while propping up Wall Street and engineering a historic consolidation of power and wealth. In The War on Small Business, entrepreneur Carol Roth unveils the many abuses of power inflicted on small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Historia
More than two centuries after World War III poisoned the planet, the final bastion of humanity lives on massive airships circling the globe in search of a habitable area to call home. Aging and outdated, most of the ships plummeted back to Earth long ago. The only thing keeping the two surviving lifeboats in the sky are Hell Divers - men and women who risk their lives by skydiving to the surface to scavenge for parts the ships desperately need.

Good story great performance
Revisado: 10-27-22
The story was okay, if you like a story in wich the people your rooting for never get a brake and are constantly loosing throughout the whole thing until the end. The end was bitter sweet almost made the whole adventure worth it but fell short. You get the feeling of buyers remorse at the end, left not quite satisfied after the beating everyone takes throughout the book.
