Historia
I've been in love with my best friend for years. The problem? He thinks I'm straight. Now that I share a dorm with him, his insistent need to cuddle—and lack of clothes—are blurring the careful lines I've drawn. I'm struggling to keep my defenses up. I love him, but I'm afraid. Afraid I'm not enough to make him stay. Afraid he'll rip my heart out. Afraid he won't love me back. But I see a side of him no one else does. In the security of our room, he lets his mask fall, lets me hold him.

My Devils Details
Revisado: 03-21-25
What makes a story? What makes a story that you, or others, believe to be true? Can our lives be so intricate like the vessels within our very bodies? How many paths, doors, and realities are truely ours, and how many are others we happen to intrude on? How many times have we traveled within someone's veins and realized we've come to their hearts without knowing it?
This story, this book and universe is a heart. It pumps for the universe, sends vital essence to its world's that keeps the universe balanced and healthy. It's a heart that pumps for it's readers without knowing it's also supplying life to those who listen to it's words, it's stories, spirits, deaths, and ghosts. This universe has pumped all that, and new intricately detailed threads of lace into readers bodies to keep them pulled together.
Surely, it had done the same for me. We will never be able to fully and truely understand every door, every vein, every thread and every haunted tale our lives will push us through, tell us, show us, and make us endure. However, as each piece within shows it's ugly and beautiful sides, we will one day learn that our details and its fine print will guide us through, and be our darkness to lead us through the light that blinds us.
Thank you for this new detail to my storyline and my lyrics, something I feel was missing within my tale and tune. Now that I have found a bit of my own Halloween Boys within myself, within my mental illnesses and disabilities of the mind, I know that I will be okay. That they will be there for me, just as I am there for them. That their voices will guide me just as well as the veins that connect this books universe, as well as the souls of each world intertwine, and just as well as each word resonates within every reader.

The Fire
Revisado: 02-13-25
This book speaks for itself. I can't explain it but I have a deep connections with art, music, and literature. when I say I could feel this book, I mean it. The VA also portrayed so many people with a decent variety, and put their emotions where they should at each moment of the book where it mattered deeply.
In short, I will just say this book is absolutely FIRE. Very emotional in the best ways, and interesting with the settings backstory and occult history. I very much enjoyed it and I am so excited for my next listen.

Historia
Trauma nurse Aly Cappellucci doesn’t need any more kinks. She likes the one she’s landed on just fine. To her, nothing could top the masked men she follows online. Unless one of those men was shirtless, heavily tattooed, and waiting for her in her bedroom. She dreams about being hunted by one in particular, of him chasing her down and doing deliciously dark things to her willing body. She never could have guessed that by sending one drunken text, those dreams would become her new reality.

Masked Love
Revisado: 11-27-24
This is the first book of its kind that was a stand on its own kind of book that didn't have too many characters to keep up with it it that I have heard. I really love VA's and all the hard work they do, and I know Duets are sometimes very hard to get through without accidental sounds but the audio was in great shape, and the timing was good.
From content to voice actors, to character development and the writing, I think this book had character to it. It had a variety, and I liked that about it. It had the serious moments, the sad or down to earth moments. Slice of Life meeting romantic fantasy's of two Humans with quirky needs.
Playing devils advocate here, as much as I liked the book and characters, there are a lot of books out there that do the Mafia backgrounds, I even am a offender of the same thing. I write characters like that so they have easy ways to get out of things. So it's a bit noticeable that it's an overused thing. So I do wish the book had a bit of a, maybe darker, or more intricate way of handling things besides the Mafia Family help. BUT! This is not a book that seemed to rely on the Mafia background part to keep it interesting. The normal hacker thing and background in survival, killer background was new and interesting (to me that is and I've listened to over 50-100 books at this point). Especially seeing the way Josh had to get through his hard ship with his girlfriend.
All in all, the book didn't rely on its sexy scenes or it's Mafia ties, it had the ups and downs of normal life and wasn't focused on the mega millionaire type lifestyle. I really enjoyed seeing that in a book. This was fun to listen to and I am excited for possible future writings. I already have the second book wishlisted for my next credit or check. 😄

I don’t want Jason Vega. Not at all. It’s the worst idea ever. Ah, hell... Jason is handsome. Smart. Dangerous. Hot. He’s goddamn gorgeous - but he’s also sleeping on the street, hanging out with the local biker gang, and selling his body for a living. Our lives, our paths, couldn’t be further apart. I’m crawling toward the light while he’s falling into the dark. But it doesn’t matter how different we are or what logic dictates.

Real Life
Revisado: 10-18-24
I absolutely love any book Teddy voices in, but both VA's worked so well on their parts. I think the casting was perfect and each VA has such expressive voices with how they read. It's not someone telling a story, it's the character actively showing it through sound. The spicy parts alsoooo were perfect. 🥰
Something I want to highlight is the slice of Life this book gave. Sure these kind of books often have a story told with things that may not really happen in real life. Everything is not fairytale ending. This book worked well with this idea. It gave slice of life but also gave a feeling that life isn't always a shit storm, and that it can get better over time. As long as you have people around you that care about you or accept help where it's given, you could be okay. It's always okay to ask someone for help if you need it, you don't have to go through things alone. 🤍

Revisado: 09-24-24
I really can not recommend this book series enough. Also, this last book with the Super Heros was amazing. Out of all of the stories I think this was my favorite one. I love to see how characters interact with eachother so maybe that's why? However, this one and Lucky & Mason's stories for some reason stood out to me a lot. I loved all the books, but out of the series, I loved this one the most. Maybe because of relatable characters to myself. Also, I absolutely love Deadpool. Great job on this work of art and it was amazingly put together. The voice actor that did the series is amazing, I have no idea how you could keep up with so many characters and have all of them be distinct with their voices! I haven't done VA work before, but I want to, and now I know what I have to work on just by listening to this book. Inspired all around, amazing work!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🐺🤍❄️

I’m a man with too many secrets, so the last thing I need is a new roommate with a sexy smile and blue eyes that see right through me. Eight years ago, Roderick left town after high school. We’re not friends. I owe him nothing. But back then, I let one of my secrets slip, and he’s the only one who noticed. Part of me knows I should run far, far away. But the other part wants him to come upstairs and spend the night. But if I let him in, I could lose everything.

A Break
Revisado: 04-02-24
So I have been listening to A LOT of heavy and dark romance books. I really needed a break because they may be fun to listen to and get into but it does take a toll. So I looked into some other titles and found this one! Also favored both VA's even if Hamilton's work brought me here! This was such a cute and comforting story I couldn't stop listening to it! It was a well needed break from the heavy drama dark and revenge romance books could give you. I'm excited listen to more books like this! A+ from me. 🤍❄️🐺

Welcome To The Circus
Revisado: 03-27-24
First of all, shout out for a book having FFDP in it haha, on top of that... this is nothing like I've ever read/listened to before. I wish there were more like it. However, I absolutely can't imagine something living up to what this series has become. The voice actors are obviously amazing as well and such a good choice. I can't wait to listen to even more books. This one surely will stay in my memory. I had no idea there were two parts to it, but I think that was a great idea so we got sort of a whole story out of it from start to finish so the world could be understood better since as it had been said Carnage is a world of its own. So I think the book did really well in formatting that world inside a world. Very creative and I may not have the best memory, but it is pretty easy to follow which is greatly appreciated! Great job everyone! 🤍❄️🐺

Standing Ovation
Revisado: 03-18-24
I absolutely loved this book series. I listened to the first book, and realized I needed more of this. There were even some relatable characters to me as well. It is very hard to find semi-kinky and interesting books based around gay relationships. They are few and far between. I'm really going to miss this series. It effectively made me cry, angry, and unacceptably happy at many points. I will say this as well, bravo to the voice actor. I can't believe you can do so many voices and remember all of them. There were very minor editing issues in the audios, but totally forgot them as time went on so nothing major wrong. I hope one day I can enjoy another one of these narrations since it is 2024 I still have some research to do to see what is new!
In all, absolutely loved and lived through this book. 🤍🐺❄️

Acquired Taste
Revisado: 11-27-23
This book series is like a fine wine (if your a wine person) it's an acquired taste and it will be sweet sometimes and bitter others. (I don't drink wine so I wouldn't know. I'm a hard liquor person.)
Personally I've loved every book from this series and it's only gotten better as time has gone on. I'm assuming people that listened to this book have listened to the others, I haven't heard a story line I didn't like from this series yet and I highly doubt I will in the future if more characters branch off into this world the writer has made here.
The lead female character was.. scarily similar to myself and I can relate on many levels, so that was interesting to go through this book running into things like that. Over all I loved the characters and I hope to see and experience future works from this writer.
