Enjoyable and Informative!

An easy and pleasant listen that kept my attention throughout. It is packed with useful information for anyone interested in the how's and why's of running barefoot. It is always great to hear a book in the author's own voice as well. I highly recommend this book as a great introduction to the world of barefoot running!

good story, narrator not a good fit
Revisado: 06-23-08
I'm a long time fan of the Carlotta Carlyle series and love her wit and spunk. This was a big disapointment, due primarily to the narrator. Carlotta has a lot of spanish speaking people in her life, but she herself is not hispanic. The reader was also not a part of the story, she was merely a reader. The previous Carlotta stories I have listened to were read by C.J. Critt, who became Carlotta. I would not listen to another book read by this narrator!

Excellent!
Revisado: 04-10-08
Engaging, spellbinding, exciting, endearing. I didn't want to turn it off. I loved the fact that all the main characters were damaged in some way, not the perfection you often find in movies. It didn't take long before I felt as though I knew them and cared what happened to them.
