I loved this book and the reading that made every word drippingly pornographic, but I'm glad it's over and I can put it behind me. The intensity of the mood was making me anxious and irritated and I was carrying that into my real life. So, truly, a superb book. Once.

Difficult to listen to, get a different version!

The story is excellent, a classic, and well-known before even breaking into the book. The performance, however, is pretty miserable. The low tone, excessive vocal fry, almost no variability in character, and low volume all combine to make this reader incredibly difficult to listen to. I really tried, but I'm bailing because struggling to listen is affecting my appreciation of the story. This is a good lesson for me to investigate the reader and listen to the sample, especially when there are several versions available.

Audible is the way to go with this one

"Success leaves clues." No matter what you want to do, someone has been there and most likely they will love to tell you all about it. So ask!
That's my most-quoted lesson from The Success Principles, but there are just SO MANY. If I had any complaints, it would be the length of this all-encompassing self development book. Cue Audible. I had a hard copy and tried several times to read it, never making it even halfway through before it got re-shelved. Listening with Audible allowed me to stick with this juicy book to the end.
If you choose one self development book, this should be it. You owe it to yourself to live your best life and The Success Principles will absolutely help you with that. Audible will help you get through it.
