This is a poor imitation of “ The Number of the Beast “. The voice acting is awful; the dialogue changes confusing. The plot is elementary in comparison to the original, as if it were thrown together with little or no thought.

litRPG with a New Slant

This book is more than your normal litRPG. A solid read for the genre, that tries to include a story of social significance. A YA coming of age story, that conveys the idea, that cooperation is better than egotistical self interest.
Jeff Hays does a magnificent job, as always,turning a solid book into a striking and immersive listen. The narration turns what would be a four into a five star experience.

All I want is... what's owed Me !!!

This is my first listen to this author narrator cobo, and they are great! I really enjoyed this fast paced action packed Universe. Roak is a great character with a single mind set; he wants paid what is owed to him. I look forward to reading all the books I missed by this fantastic duo.

Apocalyptic Survival Guide of Humor

A solid read for what it is, a humorous take on a post-apocalyptic world..The two narrators present a perfect foil for each other and is well done. All in all, a verbal walk through of my last play through of, " Fallout 4 ".

Solid Action Fantasy

Solid plot with good characterization and competent world building. Enjoyed the book, but thought it far too short to be worth a credit only to be asked to spend another credit for part two. I do look forward to reading more books by this author. Narration was well done.

hUMANS VS ALIENS

A solidly written book, I had a hard time finishing, No real new ideas, imprinting DNA not feasible to me, nor the idea that one tank commander could change the course of a galactic war. The book leans more toward inter species romance than military science fiction. hard core military science fiction fans give this book a pass.

Otherlife Nightmares: The Selfless Hero Trilogy

As an avid reader and player of CRPG's for over forty years, I find the litrpg genre a natural extension of two of my main hobbies.I really enjoyed the first book, but the second book, not so much.I have often pondered the question of artificial consciousness (AC), also known as machine consciousness (MC), and enjoy books that address this question.I was surprised,having thought myself well read, that there is a " Harem Genre ", and what was implicit in the first book is explicit in the second.this detracted greatly from any enjoyment derived from the book.It is so off-putting, that I lowered my rating from four, to three stars. I seldom read two books of a trilogy without reading the third, but the unwanted harem tropes make it a close call.
