It is apparent that Brent is a passionate life long student of the Bible. He gives a down to earth and easy to understand approach in the Bible stories and topics explored.

If you are looking for a month devotional. There are 32 chapters, enough to cover a month.

I listened to the audio. It was a nice listen on a school snow day while I worked on a quilt for my young nephew. The narrator Brandon does a great job as well.

Growing up in a big family and being raised knowing God’s word, I can add to the experiences shared in here of God’s faithfulness even in the midst of tragedy.

For example our family suffered a terrible accident, but see God’s hand in what He allowed and didn’t allow. My sister when recalling that day remembers after the accident she miraculously had her phone right in her hand to call 911. The truck had flipped multiple times. So that was indeed a miracle. Really also, how God used His people in our community to help us when we needed help after three were seriously injured.

Brent, you encourage me to want to write about what God did.
