Definitely worth the read (review 2.0)
Revisado: 10-13-23
Just so everyone knows, I did a review before this, but audible of course had to be frustrating and they wouldn’t let me edit my review, so this is my review 2.0.
I’ve had high expectations from the start, about Dawn of the Clans/DotC since the great things I’ve heard about them, so I decided to give the prequel arc a try.
I am not a fan of Macleod Andrews, as whenever he voices kits he has this sugary sweet high pitched voice,
And when he voices she-cats they have this straining high tone.
I do however like the voice he has for Clear sky, but I imagine Clear sky to have Steve Buscemi’s voice.
**BEWARE! SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK**
Since I am too lazy to write a full review, I will just say my favorite parts of the book.
When fluttering bird died, I almost cried.
I literally almost had to hold in a sob, as Clear sky basically had a mental breakdown when he was told that she was dead.
Same thing but a little less with Bright streams death.
Still, I felt so sad for Clear sky both times, as the deaths were far more impacting on him than Gray wing.
Want proof? Here:
Sure Gray wing witnessed Fluttering bird’s death, but imagine if you were Clear sky, you just come back to the cave with some prey,
And you are told your sister is dead.

The best in the series!
Revisado: 08-12-23
**SPOILER ALERT!**
A lot of people say how bad the book is, and how their not happy about the tribe coming back, but personally, this is my favorite book so far. Why? Lemme start.
Normally I don’t really like the tribe of rushing water since the new prophecy arc failed to get me interested in them, but I just love how the book portrayed the to-be’s especially Screech.
Now, Lion’ paw is a favorite of mine, so I absolutely loved when his POVs were on.
One of my favorite Lion’ paw POVs is when he was in the intruders’ camp and he literally fought better than Bramble’ claw.
Literally.
So I hope to see Lion’ paw getting his warrior name in the next book.
The last thing I liked was Jay’ paw.
For me, he used to be a grumpy annoying fur ball, but his character development was AWESOME.
I was so mad at the cliffhanger in the book tho!
Anyways, have a good day! :)

Interesting story, bad voice
Revisado: 01-29-23
( 10 year old writing this review )
First of all, lemme start with the performance of MacLeod Andrews.
It was so-so but there are definitely some flaws he needs to work out.
Such as, his high pitched kit voice.
Whenever I listen to him voice Hollypaw, it's as if my ears are bleeding.
Literally. His voice is so high pitched whenever he voices Hollypaw,
Or Cinderpelt ( from the Darkest hour )
It sounds. . . how do I put this . . . Childish?
Well, other then that, his voice was kinda plain and dull.
It felt like a chore to listen to him!
But, other than his terrible voice, the story is actually pretty good!
If you don't wanna hear some boring lore about how I got this book then skip
This part. ( ~ BORING LORE ALERT BORING LORE ALERT ~ )
So, it all started when I was about 8 or something, and I was on a book app.

Interesting but a little annoying
Revisado: 11-01-22
I have to admit, the storyline is good, but maybe Tui should've,
had glory replaced with a different POV.
I can't explain how many times glory, starts to get an ego and gets to be annoying. by the way, please stop saying glory is lazy. Even though
she gets a little tired and drowsy, doesn't mean she's lazy.
that's basically saying ice' wings are lazy because of how they
snore or, idk. another reason how Tui made glory a terrible character is,
she is a Mary sue. you know in order to make a good book you need to
make characters that are like, misfits with a few magic abilities and that's it.
tui did the opposite of this.
honestly, glory should have some of her superiority taken away.
tui favors glory much more than she should.
Sorry for the ranting, but this is just my opinion.
Welp, catch you later! thanks for reading my review, bye!!!

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BESTEST BOOK ON EARTH!!!!!!!!
Revisado: 10-17-22
this is so awesome; I can't even explain it.
except that I am going to try!
firstly, you should read this.
why? well, it is about a an icewing dragonet named winter,
who is trying to be less mean and is trying to get foeslayer out of
prison (I will mention this part a lot) and,
he is trying to trap his cool (lol no pun intended)
sis, icicle.
SPOILER ALERT!!!!
it turns out that, she is the bad guy in book 6, and 7.
she also gets trapped in the rainwing healers' den.
and SPOILER ALERT!!!! she is captured in the nightwing fortress
by Kinkajou (brave little dragonet) who, leaves stuff there where she, moon,
winter, icicle, qibli, and turtle are and capture icicle.
Now, this is also one of my favorite parts in the book.
Later then, winter goes to the icewing palace/ kingdom, and
finds Hailstorm, SPOILER ALERT!!!! who has actually been turned into
a skywing named Pyrite, who is loyal to Scarlet.
Then, winter has to get into a higher rank, but he has to go
into the diamond trial which is literally to awesome to explain
Also, I am too lazy (like a rainwing lol) to write a long review.
so overall, THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BESTEST BOOK ON EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book fits perfectly into the things I love to read.
It is literally my favorite story lines mixed together
to make an awesome read,
because I love sea creatures, (if you love sea creatures like me,
you should try the emily windsnap series)
and I love dragons! perfect storyline. Keep up the good work Sutherland!
