Tessa is a horrible narrator and the story was lackluster

Tessa was not a good choice for this book. I couldn’t get into her narration at all because it sounded like she had marbles in her mouth the whole time. Regardless of that, she didn’t have the right voice for her character. It was also jarring to have two narrators read in different voices for the same characters I couldn’t remember each voice from one chapter to another. Abby Craden was great as always though. I wish she did the whole book. The story was ok, but there was no real build up it was just a boom, fist look in love story. Interesting plot idea though

Blonde and Brunette!!!

The book was pretty good besides the author constantly referring to the main characters and the blonde or the brunette. It was really weird and I’ve never read anything like it. As much as she said it, I couldn’t always remember which was which. By the end of it I was just laughing but it was very strange. If the reviews worry you I wouldn’t recommend it, because it’s literally in 85% of the book.

Good story narrator took some getting used to

The narrators voice for the young woman with a southern accent was really hard to get used to. She sounded more like a Middle Aged southern Karen than a young woman. Once I got used to it I enjoyed it but it was a struggle.

This book would’ve been so much better if it was from Moes perspective. Kate is by far one of the most obnoxious characters in a book I’ve come across. She’s always whining about everything and doubting everything. Over and over again and over and over. It got boring real quick

Performance subpar for this one

I really enjoyed this series, but the voices were off in this book. Kate’s voice was totally wrong, she used a completely different voice that just didn’t sound right after the first three were so consistent. There weee a few times where Jay would be talking but it done in Kate’s voice or some other mix up. Some words seemed like they were incorrect and made no sense in the placement in the sentences. Overall it was a good story but the performance took me out of it.

Awful narration

The narrator makes every character really nasally and one of the main characters sounds like a boy going through puberty I really want to like this series but the narrator is impossible to listen to. If I didn’t buy it then I would’ve quit listening to it quickly. There’s also a chunk missing at the end of chapter 15.
