Not a fan

I couldn’t connect with this story or the characters. The main reason I listened to this audiobook is because Alistair Haynesbridge is one of the narrators. Even he couldn’t make me enjoy this book. I rate him 5 stars but the female narrator brought my rating down to 3 stars.

Pelion Lake series

Falling for Gage is book 3 in the Pelion Lake series. It can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the books in order to get the backstory of the characters. Mia Sheridan’s books are always so well written with characters that are complex and interesting. I enjoyed the story and the narration.

Uninteresting story

I was excited for a new Sally Thorne book but was disappointed with this one. Neither the story nor the characters were interesting. If it had been longer than a novella I wouldn’t have finished. The narrator is overly dramatic and her male voice is terrible. I recommend skipping this one.

2nd book in series

This is the second book in the Honey Mountain series but could easily be read to as a standalone and you wouldn’t be missing any important facts. I loved the story and the characters. I will definitely be continuing the series. The narrators really brought the story to life.

Second chances

I really loved this story. Reading about a character who takes a break from her life to find herself was really refreshing. I found myself tearing up several times. Jack was not the most likable character but was relatable. The narrator was fine when she used her voice but her accents bothered me at first but I got use to them.

Wonderful second chance story

Have you ever listened to a book that is perfectly written and narrated? If not, you need to listen to this audiobook. I love the story and the characters so much. It is the perfect second chance romance. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell’s narration was perfection. They made me feel the emotions that the characters were feeling. Truly one of the best performances I’ve listened to.

Hilarious

I’m not in the medical field but can imagine most of the scenarios in this book. This book is hilarious. The narrator was so good and her comedic timing was perfect.

Wrong narrator choice

This story was very much like a Hallmark movie but was still enjoyable. It would’ve been better with a different narrator. This narrator sounded much older than the main character. I wish authors would choose narrators that are suited for the characters to make the listening experience more enjoyable.
