Historia
Tom Smith used to be somebody. Now he's just another refugee, fleeing the smoking ruins of civilization. Tom and some trusted allies were able to stay one step ahead of the infected humans and escaped offshore. Now they're holed up in a safe house in coastal Virginia and it's time to break out. Between him and his objective, one of the bank's prepared evacuation camps in the Cumberland Valley, are hundreds of miles of clogged roads, burnt-out towns, and howling mobs of infected humans who know only hunger.

genuinely enjoyed the book, and the performance was top notch. Another excellent yarn in the overall scheme of the series, and Tristan Morris' performance really brought the individual characters to life.

A fitting end to the trilogy.

Another good read. I enjoyed all 3 books and thought the author did a very good job of creating a unique but understandable alternate universe. Character development was well done, and the reader cares about what happens to the main characters. There are a couple of "overly convenient" tools used to deal with a couple of characters that seemed as if they would have greater impact on the final resolution of the saga, but those are forgivable. There are a couple of surprise endings for characters that I did not anticipate , and that is refreshing (even if sad). in the end, glad to have found these books.

I enjoyed the book, and the performance was very good. fun and creative. leaves you on a cliffhanger, which is not very satisfying, but you do want to know what happens next, so I suppose it was successfully done.

Historia
It was supposed to be an easy job: find the Dark Star Revolution Starships, destroy them, and go home. But a booby-trapped vessel decimates the Meridian Alliance fleet, leaving Serengeti - a Valkyrie class warship with a sentient AI brain - on her own, wrecked and abandoned in an empty expanse of space. On the edge of total failure, Serengeti thinks only of her crew. She herds the survivors into a lifeboat, intending to sling them into space. But the escape pod sticks in her belly, locking the cryogenically frozen crew inside.

Excellent performance and interesting story.
Revisado: 07-01-18
While the story is slow moving at times, this reader's performance was outstanding. As far as the book, you have to give real credit to how much"humanity" the author was able to instill in the robot and AI characters.

Historia
With human civilization annihilated by a biological zombie plague, a rag-tag fleet of yachts and freighters known as Wolf Squadron scours the Atlantic, searching for survivors. Within every abandoned liner and carrier lurks a potential horde, safety can never be taken for granted, and death and turning into one of the enemy is only a moment away. Yet every ship and town holds the flickering hope of survivors. Historia
Joe Pickett is the new game warden in Twelve Sleep, Wyoming, a town where nearly everyone hunts and the game warden—especially one like Joe who won't take bribes or look the other way—is far from popular. When he finds a local hunting outfitter dead, splayed out on the woodpile behind his state-owned home, he takes it personally. There had to be a reason that the outfitter, with whom he's had run-ins before, chose his backyard, his woodpile to die in.

I particularly enjoyed the accurate and detailed description of the game animals, firearms and real-world depiction of the modern American rural western states. I could relate to the protagonist as a person.
