Historia
Chris Randall and his family are on the run with a group of renegade soldiers led by General Gold. Having stolen a Kyron shuttle and escaped from the occupied cities, they are safe - for now. General Gold has a plan to strike back against the Kyra. Meanwhile, one of Earth’s old colony ships has returned, and they have revealed the invaders’ weakness: the Chrona. But are the Chrona a new enemy or a friend? Chris isn’t sure, and he isn’t convinced that striking back is a good idea. Yet, one thing he knows without a doubt: The fate of the human race hinges on the answer.

Historia
Here, in his own words, is the true story of America's wildest flying hero, of his extraordinary heroism, and of his greatest battle of all-the fight to survive. The World War II air war in the Pacific needed tough men like Colonel Pappy Boyington and his Black Sheep Squadron. The legendary Marine Corps officer and his bunch of misfits, outcasts, and daredevils gave a new definition to "hell-raising" - on the ground and in the skies.

What an amazing story
Revisado: 10-31-22
This is probably one of the most honest, true to life, stories I have ever heard. The writer does not shy away from his misfortunes nor his mistakes nor his shortcomings. He does not overly glorify his achievements but in a very humble real-life manner tells the story as it happened.
I've learned a few things from this mans life that I've applied in my own life, especially my professional life.
The most amazing part was the look-back on his life after the war, being who he was, having achieved what he did but still facing the consequences of those actions. The realization of what the few minutes of fame can do to you in the long run.
Absolutely loved the book!

Historia
Only four men in American history have been promoted to the five-star rank of Admiral of the Fleet: William Leahy, Ernest King, Chester Nimitz, and William Halsey. These four men were the best and the brightest the navy produced, and together they led the U.S. Navy to victory in World War II, establishing the United States as the world's greatest fleet. In The Admirals, award-winning historian Walter R. Borneman tells their story in full detail for the first time.

Historia
In August 1968 NASA made a bold decision: In just 16 weeks, the United States would launch humankind's first flight to the moon. Only the year before, three astronauts had burned to death in their spacecraft, and since then the Apollo program had suffered one setback after another. Meanwhile, the Russians were winning the space race, the Cold War was getting hotter by the month, and President Kennedy's promise to put a man on the moon by the end of the decade seemed sure to be broken.

Revisado: 04-07-21
Having read and seen almost everything I can find about the apollo program, this book gave a more private and detailed view of what happened. Details left out in other books gave this book a feeling of almost being there!
The writer did a great job! The interview with Frank at the end was an unexpected surprise.

Another enjoyable book in the series although this book didnt have a story that gave the same excitement as the previous books. It is still a very good story but perhaps a bit too much time spent on certain scenes rather than the main plot. Still a stron 4/5 and I am looking forward to the next book a lot :)

This is the book the CIA does not want you to read. For the last 60 years, the CIA has maintained a formidable reputation in spite of its terrible record, never disclosing its blunders to the American public. It spun its own truth to the nation while reality lay buried in classified archives. Now, Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter Tim Weiner offers a stunning indictment of the CIA, a deeply flawed organization that has never deserved America's confidence.
