Worst narration imaginable

This narration is in monotone and is so repetitive it sounds like the recording is stuck. I wish I could return the purchase

OK, but a little far-fetched

I really liked the story in the beginning, but as it continued, it started to strain credulity. There were just too many moving parts to this plot so that, to me, it began to seem contrived. I enjoyed it as a light summer book, but it isn't one that I would read a second time.

Nice retelling by "little Katy"

I enjoyed this book and Katy Tur's perspective on the campaign. I do find it telling that in over a year of covering the Trump campaign, she has not one single compliment or kind word to say about the man. I also found all her complaints about her job as tiresome to read. Is it important to me how she had to run for a plane or drag her bag, like the rest of us don't have to deal with the same dilemmas? The best parts of the book were some of the close up encounters and experiences, such as the Bush Brothers steaks being passed off as Trump steaks, but I would have liked to hear a little more balanced review of the candidate. When I read about how 91% of the media coverage since President Trump's inauguration has been negative, it makes me think she is just another one of the media herd. There is no human being who is all bad, but if you read this book, you will think Trump is. Balanced perspective would be nice, but you won't find that in this book.

Very thought provoking!

Dr. Dossey makes very compelling argument about the inter-connectedness of all things. Many documented examples of "unexplained" communication between beings, both human and non. I listened to this book on audible, and I must say I prefer to listen to novels versus fact recitation, but I was able to do other things while listening. Listening to the reading of facts and anecdotes can be dry, but the subject matter was fascinating.

A little too drawn out

This book was a hard subject matter but written with sensitivity. The story was just a bit too drawn out for my taste, spending chapters on each different main character in the story, but it never really drew me into any of them. It was a bit like being a voyeur, not really connecting with any of them. Very annoying sound on the recording of hearing pages turn.
