Historia
Wayne Castine was found brutally murdered and the murderer remains at large. Castine, a suspected child predator, was killed in Brattleboro where he was involved with a tangled network of an extended family living in a local trailer park. Any member of the clan would have had the opportunity to kill him, and, as he was involved with both the mother and her 12 year old daughter, reason to commit the murder.

poor performance
Revisado: 06-25-24
Liked the story, as usual. So disappointed in the performance I considered returning the book. I looked ahead and see that Tom Taylorson will be back so I forge on.

Historia
Everyone in the small town of Denton is searching for Isabelle Coleman, a missing 17-year-old girl. All they've found so far is her phone and another girl they didn't even know was missing. Mute and completely unresponsive to the world around her, it's clear this mysterious girl has been damaged beyond repair. All Detective Josie Quinn can get from her is a name: Ramona. Currently suspended from the force for misconduct, Josie takes matters into her own hands as the name leads her to evidence linking the two girls.

Narration was annoying
Revisado: 09-17-23
While the story was decent enough I found myself really distracted by the narration. The story takes place in the U.S. yet her pronunciation of so many words indicates that she hails from Canada maybe? No distinct accent, but definitely unfamiliar with the American pronunciations of several common words. It takes away from the authenticity of the story. Too bad. I noticed that she narrates the next 2 books in the series so I won't be purchasing them from Audible.

Historia
When Gulliver Leverenz abandons LA to make a fresh start in New York, he leaves behind his family, his friends - and one bastard ex-boyfriend. It’s certainly an impulse move: Gully has no job, no money, and no direction. What he does have is a former fraternity brother with a posh apartment, a crew of incredibly hot friends, and a reputation as a rising star in the gay nightlife scene. As luck would have it, Gully soon snags a job with a talent agent and even finds himself a new boyfriend. There’s just one catch...

Historia
An historic literary event: the publication of a newly discovered novel, the earliest known work from Harper Lee, the beloved, best-selling author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic To Kill a Mockingbird. Originally written in the mid-1950s, Go Set a Watchman was the novel Harper Lee first submitted to her publishers before To Kill a Mockingbird. Assumed to have been lost, the manuscript was discovered in late 2014.

Disappointed
Revisado: 07-29-15
Sadly the best part about the book was the narration . I was so disappointed in the absence of an actual story and bored with Scout's behavior....perpetual ten year old.
