Historia
When an ambitious teenage girl from Earth finds herself in a magical realm, she could be the hero—but she'd prefer to be the villain. When power-hungry Everly is reborn into a medieval world where elemental magic rules and she receives her elemental servants—the oddly sadistic Eris and the fun-loving Titania—years earlier than one typically would, she knows she's destined for a command of necromantic magic the likes of which her peers can only dream.

Great Evil POV
Revisado: 09-10-24
Loves the narrator except when she voiced the paladin. Just the voice didn't suit that character IMO. AOther than that great story and has me itching to pick up book 2.

Historia
Just before summer break, Sakuta encounters Shouko Makinohara, a girl in junior high with the same name and face as his first love. Of course, that should be impossible, since she would be in college by now. Then, as if one mystery wasn’t bad enough, Adolescence Syndrome strikes again. His impassive friend from the science club, Rio, discovers she has a doppelgänger. One of the Rios is forced out of her house and winds up staying at Sakuta’s apartment. Definitely not the girl he expected to find himself living with.

Bunny girls do not live in libraries. This is simply common sense. And yet, that’s exactly where Sakuta finds one in the wild. More bewildering is who the bunny girl is: Mai Sakurajima, a girl one year older than Sakuta, famous at their school for her acting career even though she’s currently on break. To top it all off, it seems like no one else in the library can see Mai at all, no matter what she does or...wears.

Great story but end is sudden
Revisado: 01-09-24
Love the narration and 95% of the story. However I feel like the end feels too sudden and Cliffhangery. But it did it's job as I am buying book 2 now.

Interesting take on Time Travel
Revisado: 01-02-18
Time Travel has always been one of my favorite subjects in SCI-FI. The way the author built his system while not completely original does add several interesting ideas that I am hoping are expanded upon in Mr. Coops next novel in the series. Overall if you like your Time Travel mixed in with some great action and a little 80's nostalgia I think you will enjoy this novel. Honestly the only thing I can think of that could have made the novel a little better was maybe a little more 80's/90's nostalgia thrown in.
Narrator did a great job as well but I just felt the performance was lacking something. Not that he did a bad job mind you, just not a 5 star job.

Nine years hence, the once-fearful Owen has grown into a confident young man, mentored in battle and politics by Duke Horwath and deeply in love with his childhood friend, the duke’s granddaughter. But the blissful future Owen and Elysabeth Mortimer anticipate seems doomed by the king’s machinations.

Upset about certain choices but still invested in the characters (Spoiler Alert)
Revisado: 03-25-17
((Spoiler alert))I hate to give a negative review on a book that I loved except for one choice made by the author. But I am really thinking about quitting the series now and never reading the final book even though I already own it. I know it's the authors right to make the ultimate decisions that affect their characters but damn why did he have to go and rip out Owens heart. I love Mr Wheelers other books but I absolutely despise the choice of ripping Evvie and Owen apart. Oh well I will most likely read the final book but this has to be, in my opinion, one of the worst choices an author has made for his characters in my recent reading history.

Read the Rho Agenda first
Revisado: 12-31-16
I read online that to enjoy this book you do not need to read the main series first. I strongly disagree.
I felt lost at times and didn't understand many of the allusions to other character/events that I assume take place in tyhe first novel. The novel did have some interesting technology and good not great action scenes. I plan on going back to read the original novels and may revise my review at that time. My last gripe with thye book is the Narrator, specifically the female voices that he used. I think I would have enjoyed the book much more with female & male unarrators.
