not enough happened in this book to call it a story the story has a beginning and end but also a climax it was missing the climax

Worst ever never have I ever given anyone one star

I've never given any book one star because I acknowledge the time and effort it takes to put a book together to even get it on Audible that being said this is the worst book I've ever listen to worst part about it is that there's no real hope for him at the end he has to trust the group that got him into this situation that he has to flee from with no guarantees they will do what they say that's how the last book ended him putting his life in the hands of the people that him in his situation along with his naivete which it's hard to believe growing up around Cutthroat Mercenaries in the monster infested Wilds is being naive when there's just special needs unless that's what the author was going if he is impaired then I can understand everything otherwise he's putting a girl he kind of like over the family he just got dudes trash MC

nothing happened great world-building Mike the characters but nothing happens you'd have to put book one and two together to make half a book maybe one to make the events feel like a full story

The first book didn't really go anywhere but now we have a story ladies and gentlemen

I don't hate the MC anymore he's still somewhat annoying but the author is using that trope/ Were the women are the ones with the commonsense not unlike reality and most likely are the most badass/ and the guys are assholes, one-dimensional, or eccentric and/or idiot savants.
