The mystery didn’t even try to make the clues add up. Instead, the author chooses to spend the final 4 chapters simply having Max painstakingly explained how the clues related to the killer.

I loved the story as much as the first two but the narrator changed and she’s kind of whispery. I did not like her performance as much as the former reader.

This series has the most cozy setting and delightful lead characters. The problem is that all the mysteries are easy to solve in the first 30% of the novel. As soon as the murderer is introduced, you know immediately. 🤦🏽♀️ Thr authors need to push themselves to spruce up the twists and endings.
