Painstakingly raw and genuine. A beautifully written and detailed memoir that gives the reader a clear depiction of Lisa’s early life orbiting around her father’s flawed human development when it came to parenthood. The reader is given the forest and the tree. Wonderful auditory performance by the narrator as well, going back and forth between Lisa and Steve.
