One of the most unique stories I’ve listened too

In the wake of the gulltide is a quite unique story in the portrayal of LITrpg as a nature documentary of sorts. Following a monster/bird throughout its lifecycle. Capping this unique and absolutely fascinating story is Miles Meili’s as always wonderful performance of this audiobook.
I will say this story may not be for everyone but I do suggest giving it a listen anyway.
I’m quite excited for the next book (asuming there will be one) and fingers crossed we will get it soon.

Absolutely amazing continuation of this series

If you liked the first book buckle in for an enthralling story from Johnathan brooks. This story was an absolute roller coaster of emotions for me, and Miles Meili has again done an amazing job with the narration of this book. Cliff hangars leaving me wanting more and all, I can’t wait for the next book!

Definitely a different style but I love it!

I love how Johnathan brooks has gone in a much different direction in tone and story line with this book than what he’s written before. Definitely a fascinating listen. Main character with no actual attack ability definitely feels fresh and new.
Narration was spot on too, as always miles has done a wonderful performance and I’m very excited for the next book.

Absolutely unique story perspective as far as I’m concerned

I was expecting a relatively interesting but normal LIT RPG story but having the MC start off as a deity has got me hooked. I’ve never seen it done before and how well it has been done so far makes me want the next book as soon as possible

Absolutely breathtaking ending to an epic series

It’s not often that the ending of a book series legitimately leaves me speechless but Johnathan brooks along with a stellar performance by miles Meili and Louise Cooksey succeeded splendidly. From conjuring huge battles and structures to the personality of every single character made it so real it felt like I was there. This is definitely a book and series that take the top of my list of favorites and I hope for a sequel.

He’s outdone himself again

This has got to be one of the best things I’ve listened too by Jonathan brooks so far. Miles Meili has also done a fantastic job narrating once again. Absolutely love the character and the issues prejudice against him caused. And the system the world runs on absolutely fascinated me and kept me asking for more.
All in all read it. It is absolutely amazing.
