such a whiner

listened to the first book. It was okay. But this one I can't finish. The MC's development seems to be going in reverse. The reactions to everything is just off. Not an enjoyable listen.

What an incredible struggle to finish

The first book was OK, the second was not so good but I bought the third book. The emotional conflict of the MC in this book is just ridiculous and implausible. The constant review of stats added nothing. Maybe a review of upgrades but not the entire Parthenon of never-ending miniscule improvements. Listeners beware.

I admit to being a reasonably seasoned citizen. I almost didn't get this book but nothing else caught my eye at the moment and so I thought why not. I cannot remember laughing so much about any book. I spent the entire day smiling and laughing out loud. My thanks to the author and reader. Well Done and my thanks for this jewel.

Not remotely reasonable

My first 4 hrs of this were pretty bad. A teenage ranger who did not know how to give a coup de gras to a stag. The story was attempting to give a 20th century pacifist reflections on death and murder. The author never has been hunting or in a serious fight. This is probably the worst book I've listened to in a very long time. After 4 hours of saying "What? No way! That's insane" I am returning this one. You can try it and see if I'm right or wrong.

Storyline not to bad. But the inability to read the words in American English is so annoying. The sexual context is at the 12 year old level. I didn't finish.
