The narrator did A great job. I’ve been watching “Godfather of Harlem” on Amazon prime video and was excited to hear this book about Bumpy. The story adds up nicely and I wish there was more to hear but as we all have to go, Bumpy passed away. Exciting, curious, amazed, shocked, and pleased with this one here.

Historia
When Bronwen Dickey brought her new dog home, she saw no traces of the infamous viciousness in her affectionate, timid pit bull. Which made her wonder: How had the breed - beloved by Teddy Roosevelt, Helen Keller, and TV's Little Rascals - come to be known as a brutal fighter? Her search for answers takes her from 19th-century New York City dogfighting pits - the cruelty of which drew the attention of the recently formed ASPCA - to early 20th-century movie sets where pit bulls cavorted with Fatty Arbuckle and Buster Keaton.

Clint has three children: Tristan (the know it all), Norah (the snarky princess), and Aspen (the worst roommate ever). He describes parenting as "a million different gears turning in a million different directions, all of them covered in sour milk." In this inspiring and unconventional book of essays, he sheds light on the darker yet hilarious side of domestic life.

He knows the ins and outs of a lot of thing us as fans of the Culture question daily. Deep, deep, deep dive into the life some of us want to live out and partake in but know how detrimental and messed up it can be to us and our families. I love how real this book is. It takes you in many many wild rides down the life of a drug dealer, gangster, and all of that.

Revisado: 06-03-21
I enjoyed this book; which felt more like a journey. I could picture everything that was stated as if I was there. I love nook that are so in-depth like this was one is. Even had some great music lyrics to validate some of what I was reading along to. Great book. A man that rose to the top of the top but doesn’t forget how easy that fall to the ground could be. Also, relationships in the music industry mean a lot more than what we think.
