Great story. Very enjoyable.
Revisado: 09-11-24
Why does anyone let Will Wheaton narrate anything? He cannot do voices. Every character, men and women alike sound. Audible, please stop letting him ruin books and get people with talent to narrate stories. Ray Porter, Bonnie Turpin, Jeff Hayes, RC Bray, just about anyone else can do more voices than the single voice will wheaten does.

Hateful awful book. Unhelpful. counter-productive
Revisado: 04-16-20
I'm sorry I bought this book. It's nothing but bile and vitriol. It's nothing but bad stereotypes and unhelpful "advice" feeding unhelpful hateful feelings.

Pretty biased with Hoover never doing anything wrong
Revisado: 05-20-19
I’m sure the truth is somewhere out there. This book is so biased you would think Hoover never did anything wrong. Ever.
Hard to get through since there was little to no objectivity calling out failings. The author tiptoes toward sycophancy and is painfully partisan.
Interesting as hell. Just not objective so another book is needed to find the truth somewhere in between.

Historia
After standing at Donald Trump’s side on Election Night, Cliff Sims joined him in the West Wing as special assistant to the president and director of White House message strategy. He soon found himself pulled into the president’s inner circle as a confidante, an errand boy, an advisor, a punching bag, and a friend. This is the story of what it was really like in the West Wing as a member of the president’s team. It's a story of power and palace intrigue, backstabbing and bold victories, as well as painful moral compromises, occasionally with yourself.

Revisionist self-serving sycophancy
Revisado: 02-05-19
Unbelievable that all direct quote swears are bleeped out. Audible, how about offering a version for grown-ups who can handle "bad words" and don't enjoy shrill bleeps. It's a book about the White House. Swearing is to be expected.
The rest of the book is laughable with Cliff filtering everything through his alternative-fact lens.

Historia
In this groundbreaking classic, investigative journalist Lynne McTaggart reveals a radical new paradigm - that the human mind and body are not separate from their environment but a packet of pulsating power constantly interacting with this vast energy sea, and that consciousness may be central in shaping our world. The Field is a highly listenable scientific detective story presenting a stunning picture of an interconnected universe and a new scientific theory that makes sense of supernatural phenomena.

Revisado: 07-01-16
There is no rigor in the analysis and too often no data to support the claims. I would like for this to be true. It's an interesting idea. Poorly supporting the points destroys credibility

I was extremely disappointed that this book is more about Bible lessons and her individual experiences than something that could be relevantly applied to those of different belief systems.

Historia
In The Collapse of Parenting, Leonard Sax, an acclaimed expert on parenting and childhood development, identifies a key problem plaguing American children, especially relative to other countries: the dramatic decline in young people's achievement and psychological health. The root of this problem, Sax contends, lies in the transfer of authority from parents to their children, a shift that has been occurring over the last 50 years and is now impossible to ignore.
