I read this book to help with my nutrition coaching business. Simultaneously, my partner and I got into an argument about something seemingly small. He had no idea I was reading this book and was our situation to test out my new “super powers”. Long story short, it worked! This is definitely going on my annual reading list.

Much better than I thought 🤯

To be honest, I thought this was going to be another pointless health and wellness book by yet another rich “guru” telling us little people how to “find our inner lion”. This book was not that at all. I’m had the physical copy and digital version for about a year and I’m not kicking myself for not reading it sooner. Thank you Dr. Berardi!

A FITNESS COACH MUST READ❗️

I have been in the fitness industry since 2005 and over those many years have put together a list of books and articles that I re-read annually. Some even biannually. I would recommend this book to anyone working on education. Anyone raising children. Anyone working with other people. And anyone living on earth. Just wow! Dr. Tatum wrote a masterpiece. I spent a majority of the book saying to myself “white people should be reading this.” And not in a bad way but I think it would dismantle the excuse of “I had no idea that happened” or “that has nothing to do with me” ideology.

Simply Amazing!

“Born A Crime” is heartfelt, funny, emotional, and charming. Having visited South Africa from America several times I felt like I was right back there walking the streets. Trevor Noah’s life is nothing short of a miracle.
