Historia
Eight years ago, the December Plague swept through the human population of Earth. The infected were driven mad by the disease, becoming violent and cannibalistic, killing even those closest to them without hesitation. Six years ago, the tiny surviving community of immune humans found a cure, and the infected began to wake up and realize what they'd done...and what had been done to them.

One of the BEST Zombie Stories out There
Revisado: 04-23-16
What made the experience of listening to After the Cure the most enjoyable?
The experience of the narrator's voice (Miles Taber) gives this story a wonderful depth. He sounds like a born story-teller. Pausing just right, for the right amounts of time - he made me wish to listen to this story indefinitely. Excellent choice to narrate this book. ----------- Taking a zombie event to the next level - finding a 'cure' - was truly a mind blowing event. This book is an incredibly well thought out story about the aftermath of horrors beyond imagination. Deirdre Gould had me shaking in my socks. If prone to nightmares I would have been afraid to go to sleep. It was everything ANYONE could ever want out of a Zombie book - and more.

Historia
What is truth? For 19 years, Joshua Webb has been asking that question in the pages of his newspaper, The Paradise Ledger. He's been called a madman, a lunatic, and an anarchist, but now he has stumbled upon a story so huge that it could shake the United States to its very foundation. The source of the trouble is Boston Corbett, the man who shot John Wilkes Booth.

Give this a Listen - And a Read

Any additional comments?
Narrated by Clay Lomakayu, whose voice seemed to come straight out of "The Old West", I was transported back to the days when Westerns were the MOST exciting thing to watch on television - but I remember few to be as exciting as THIS!Very interesting; enjoyed it tremendously. I wish I could have gotten my ear-piece to work better so I could have listened every time I was in my automobile - NOTHING bad towards this book, just my ear-bud not functioning properly... maybe that's a good thing, I might not have gotten out of the truck every time I reached my destination.
